***** Also, if you play in the 2-player mode you can see the animal the other player chose, but yeah, otherwise it's completely irrelevant. This game can run in a virtual machine but usually without music because whoever made the game hardcoded all the sound settings so you need one that supports the ol' soundblaster-16 in order to get it. Yeah. We had this game. I suppose it isn't a terrible timewaster if your only other options are slamming your nads shut inside a drawer or counting the corn kernels in your poop, but otherwise there's definitely better. Shit, trying to get a virtual machine that runs this game properly is more entertaining and inordinately educational.

Yeah, I've got a windows 98 virtual machine just to run South Park the fps game, since the game for the PC is very difficult to find. Apparently my disc has the issue of Securom, who'd know it existed back then and as a result my laptop can only run it in the Virtual machine and even then it only works in Windows 98, none of the other OS. But my gaming PC runs fine with Windows 7, how bizarre.

As for the Saturn, it lost the console war right out the gates: they built a console that kicked ass with 2D and struggled with 3D just when the 2D age was ending and people wanted 3D games. It sold less than 10 million units worldwide, which is less than the Dreamcast, less than 30% of the N64 sales and less than 10% of what the PS1 sold. As for the Nomad, I specifically said they failed 5 _devices_, I never said 5 consoles. Dude, you can like Sega all you want and it's fine, I like their games too, but if you try and claim they didn't fuck up their hardware strategy something royal, you are fighting a losing battle.

EposVox I do both, but this one was filmed on one of my Windows 98 PCs. It just works better than VMWare Player most of the time!

Lazy Game Reviews Hrm. (I'm assuming so based on the box I saw in the video) is it actually a really old PC? I just tried installing Win98SE on an old WinXP-based laptop and Virtualbox. Laptop install was a total flop, and VirtualBox install seems horrendously finnicky. After 2 hours I gave up lol. I forgot how awful old OS's can be.

EposVox If you try to install Win98SE on a harddisk that's too big, chances are it won't work. VirtualBox is probably your best bet, but yes - the setup process is much more heavy-handed than it needs to be, IMO. I very much prefer Win98SE over any of the newer Windows OSs, but it it really isn't very practical when it comes to modern hardware support. (Very) limited USB support pretty much means I have to deal with 3.5-inch floppies again, and that alone is reason enough for me to just put up with a newer OS. I just program for 8-bit computers when I really need a break from modern hardware and software.
