My grandma watched this movie n passed it down to my mom then me... I watched it everyday a kid... that's litterally how my family used to live...

My early years i can remember. Lil. Abner in the funny papers. I dont really remember if i ever saw this or not when i was a kid. But any way i'am enjoying this ! I like. Lil. Abners mom and pop the best , they are so comical ! Thanks for bringing back some chilhood memories !

I am 46 years old.i saw this movie when I was 16 years old.i like this better than the musical movie remake in the late 1950s.this version from 1940 is far far better.back in the 1940s a studio made some Lil Abner cartoons.

I kept Google this movie until I find it , I didn't know the actors or actresses So I Google movies the had the name PAPPY in it.and it popped up, Thanks for sharing !!!!!!!

Where on this Earth did you find this?! I read the Li'l Abner comics as a kid (just ask a kid today what a comic strip is, then you'll have to explain what a newspaper is, and then you realize he's completely illiterate so you might as well blow your brains out), but didn't know about this film and I just loved it! The next time NASA sends a probe into interstellar space they should digitize it onto a gold CD for the aliens to find.

I just came here to see who Li'l Abner was because Malcom X mentioned him in his autobiography. Is he supposed to be a giant? and don't we just love seeing white people portray a culture in offensive and stereotypical ways ahah ugh.. Anyways, this is the worst movie ever - From a millennial
