SO much talent right here. They are wonderful. Li-sa-X is only 17 years old. She's a gifted prodigy. Hazuki is amazing too. Rina is an amazing singer. This track is so clean, I enjoy the musical separation. The guitar work is super clean by both of them. Great tone, too. Li-sa-X is playing a DV Mark MultiAmp, and it looks like Hazuki is playing a PRS MT-15! Both their guitars are Ibanez, which is nice. MiJ Ibanez!
Hazuki and other former DIsqualla members were session musicians when Li-Sa started playing her original songs live. eventually they established Li-sa x together with Rina. I can't really say that Li-Sa x is a sideline band for Hauzki its just that Nemophila has a busier schedule and Li-sa just finished school so she just got a little active again lately. I think Nemophila still is Hazuki's main band right now Edit: i think hazuki doesn't get involved too much in the song wiritng with LIsa X unlike in Nemophila.
The Best! The blending of dense shred and airy vocal-out-front pop is very intentional. Saki’s Mary’s Blood wraps up and closes shop in 6months. Then I expect big Nemophila push w Hazuki. Then LisaX graduates high school a year from now 🤯. Then these three ladies are gonna bring Periphery and Polyphia to pop, maybe even R&B stations. Crossover baby, yeah!!! Pretty sure the producer used DAW for piano, synth, drums, maybe even bass. He’s done it before and he’s that good. Of course, he they alsscored Shane Gaalaas and Billy Sheehan for their first song, so who knows. I’m still actively waiting for credits to hit the web… Oh, the vox is probably a prob, or vocal monitor. LisaX is with DV Mark amps (seen plugging it in near beginning of vid), who fly her to Cali NAMM to play exhibitions, which is where she got to jam with Kiko Loureiro multiple times, her Openers for her first tour (Polyphia), Jason Richardson, Doug Aldrich and etc… Kid is a worldwide star with 6years already with Sony Records, don’t let the (actual) innocence fool ya! I’m curious tho about Hazuki’s amp. Been using Kemper for 7? years, but think there’s a post somewhere of her (unboxing?) new rig. But the blurry signature/logo looks to much like Paul Reed Smith, can’t place it…
Li-sa-X band alongside Nemophila, Crystal Lake, Coldrain and Band Maid are the ones I have the highest hopes for making a big splash on the international stage following the success of the likes of Babymetal, One Ok Rock and Dir en Grey.. Those 5 imo are the finest Japanese bands of this generation with the biggest potential for global mainstream success. I'm especially hyped for Li-sa-X band considering the prodigious freak that is Lisa, even secretly hoping they'll recruit Senri Kawaguchi as their permanent member on drums. It'd be a total freak show of a band that'd give the best technical bands out there a run for their money haha Well, tbh Senri might be a stretch but Yoyoka another upcoming child prodigy is a real possibilty as they've already collaborated many times before. So fingers crossed, these stars get aligned somehow, anyhow.
Fantastic juxtaposition of sweet, almost modern country type vocals and jazz- rock Steve Lukather/Vai guitar chords and riffs. Also, the magic of the composition and arrangement is beautiful. Love it.
greatest surprise for me were the vocals. beautiful. I´m totally impressed. and two world class guitarists. the song is beautiful too. bass by billy sheehan.
Here's another one with Li-Sa_X. The album version and the play through video. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cvrdN-BrM-8.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JASyGP4t5Jk.html Her recent collabo with Yohei Kimura.
Thanks for this one - I really should have been payin more attn to Lisa-X. This is a great jazzy, power-ballady, rock tune. Vocals are great, Lisa-X's guitar work is great, and don't get me started on Hazuki - she is a sleeping giant. As I listen to the
Sounds crazy but I hear Tamu's drum tone in here . I really love her style .Lisa X band is great only one complaint is not enough material to listen to
