@@RoHuMemes if they play at a festival where the omnipresent young audience are held captive. i dont think the crowd would look anything like this outside of a festival setting
Forgot about this comment lol. I actually ended up going to Liam’s Knebworth gig and it was by far one of the best gigs I’ve ever been to. The scenes and the energy were unlike any other. It was also where me and my now-girlfriend made it official lol so bonus
He also had a wonderful voice in Japan. 2017 was completely different. And Noel is coming this Christmas. It seems that oasis will indirectly reunite in Japan.
@@oli_upton0877 with bit of luck they both sort out shit between them, life is too short and they literally have millions of fans that would love to see it.
@@sonnyjaxgang6675 if it wasn't for Noel there would literally only be a few songs Liam wrote. You have to get them to be brothers before they will sing together but as time goes on fans can only hope Noel does it whilst Liam is still in this type of voice condition. Liams voice is literally as good as what's the story right now. This word is over used for oasis and Liam but right now his voice is biblical.
yeh the transformation is insane, used to be the worst road band going, now they have really upped it, bonehead fills the sound up, the sound engineering is much better and jay mehlor is off the majority of al lead parts... sounds a lot closer to that oasis sound now, its a good day
I got goosebumps once he started signing “if you’re leaving will you take me with you?”. He absolutely nails that verse. Seen him live 3 times now. Unbelievable.
Amazing that the majority of the crowd were still primary school children when Oasis split up, yet they are absolutely singing their hearts out. This music will keep on resounding for many generations to come!
@@volodianike compared to knebworth where they say they were at their peak, he sounds pretty close. Obviously his age is showing but compared to even last year he sounds ten times better
But Bonehead does not even play all the songs, only some, and also his musical contribution is minimal. The band is simply more empathetic than two years ago, time has passed, although it still sounds bad at times, the drums are terrible.
I believe by Wembley 2000 you reffer the 2000 Tour, the SOTG tour. It's correct, Stand By Me was in the set list. But have you heard Oasis perform it again after this tour? At all??
I think he actually put more work Into it health wise then he leads on. And that's not a bad thing. He sounds better and better since the 2017 comeback.
@@rickymacqueen6690 in recent years he has yeah, because of his Hashimotos diagnosis a few years back. He’s on meds, I think he does vocal exercises and tries more to look after it. It’s the primary reason why his voice has come back somewhat the last 4 years or so.
Seeing Bonehead next to his old mate, Liam and listening to this beautiful tune brought a lump to my throat and a tear to my eye. Stunning backing vocals too. Peace.
@@neilr4867 imo its fair to say neither would have made it alone. Once famous, Noel couldve become a solo singer/songwriter if he wanted, but to breakthrough it also took Liam’s unique voice/charisma as well as the songs.
I admit, emotionally I’m a softy and don’t give a fuck . I just got teary eyed watching and hearing this. If a tune and or a performance moves ya, It’s Fantastic then. Loved this!
Made a meal and threw it up on Sunday I've got a lot of things to learn Said I would and I'll be leaving one day Before my heart starts to burn So what's the matter with you? Sing me something new Don't you know the cold and wind and rain don't know They only seem to come and go away Times are hard when things have got no meaning I've found a key upon the floor Maybe you and I will not believe in The things we find behind the door So what's the matter with you? Sing me something new Don't you know the cold and wind and rain don't know They only seem to come and go away Stand by me, nobody knows the way it's gonna be Stand by me, nobody knows the way it's gonna be Stand by me, nobody knows the way it's gonna be Stand by me, nobody knows Yeah, nobody knows, the way it's gonna be If you're leaving will you take me with you? I'm tired of talking on my phone There is one thing I can never give you My heart will never be your home So what's the matter with you? Sing me something new Don't you know the cold and wind and rain don't know They only seem to come and go away Stand by me, nobody knows the way it's gonna be Stand by me, nobody knows the way it's gonna be Stand by me, nobody knows the way it's gonna be Stand by me, nobody knows Yeah, nobody knows, the way it's gonna be The way it's gonna be, yeah Maybe I can see, yeah Don't you know the cold and wind and rain don't know They only seem to come and go away (hey, hey) Stand by me, nobody knows the way it's gonna be Stand by me, nobody knows the way it's gonna be Stand by me, nobody knows the way it's gonna be Stand by me, nobody knows Yeah, God only knows, the way it's gonna be
@@BB-se9bl well, yes it does come close. While he doesn’t reach the heights of his 90s performances (understandably, he was a much younger man) his vocal here sounds very close to his ‘familiar to millions’ sound.
Yeah agree bonehead I’m was an underrated part of the oasis wall of sound , He is permanently in the band now , plays all oasis songs and also Once at the gigs now
It’s a fact Liams still living off Noel, best tribute band going. Kids want Oasis songs not Liam songs. Could he not just get one decent song written for him?
@@sophiegoodyear4341 Noels wrote some absolute gems solo. Some excellent stuff. And he has the musical talent to do great twists on his old Oasis stuff. Magical. This is sounding great this performance, it’s just “here we go again” for me. You’ll find more 90’s teens at Noels gigs now over 00’s babies at Liams now.
I’m firmly in the Noel camp, but gotta say this is fucking good, this is one of my favourite songs of all time, he’s in great voice and got a really good band...respect is due, even like the addition of the backing singers....top stuff, our kid..👏👏
Good to find someone else who can appreciate both for what they are 👍 despite songwriting being a hobby, im about 60/40 towards Liam. But theres a few songs originally sung by Liam that Noel has nailed live solo.
I was in the Noel camp for 20 years, but now I'm firmly team Liam. He has humbled himself and worked his arse off for the last 5 years. I doffs my hat to 'im.
To me, it’s one of many albums that were overrated and then underrated. Even with the length, messy mix and distortion, about half the songs are pretty great.
Wonderful performance - forget about whether his voice is up there with 2002 MTV Super Dry or 2001 Rock in Rio, just enjoy it! After the 18 months we've had great to see huge crowd belting out all these classics, can't wait to see him in Belfast
OMG am I dreaming? His voice hasn't been this beautiful for 20 years. Massive respect for Liam for pulling this off, amazing, thanks so much for the upload!
@@user-oh7iv3ij5x that’s for sure. I mean really, why wouldn’t he continue singing Oasis songs in his sets, his inimitable voice makes those recordings.
