Sorry to be so offtopic but does anybody know of a method to get back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb forgot the login password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me.
@Tomas Russell i really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and Im in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Man this is what you call quality sparing. 2 guys giving each other grate looks without trying to kill one another! One of the greatest middle weights I can see why he was so good!
Many thanks for this video. Monzon was the best middleweight of ever. When he came in Europe, he often trained in Rome, which in the 60s and 70s was one of the European capitals of boxing. Italian middleweight champion Mario Romersi was one of his favorite sparrings. Mario Romersi has always said that it wasn't sparring, but real fight. Monzon was ruthless.
Monzón could be aggressive or defensive, but while being defensive, he knew how to throw punches going backward. Hard to do, but Monzón was able to master this technique. He showed that he could adjust to and break down any style.
Exactly ! But i would argue Carlos Monzon and Jason Scott Lee who acted as Bruce Lee in 1993 biopic looks even more alike 😊 , in fact it has been à long time i am thinking Jason Scott Lee would have been perfect as for facial features ! But yes, and it is not that Strange considering Carlos Monzon was a Native American descent with Mocovi ancestors, one tribe among others from the Guaycuru Group .. Mocovies were known as ferocious warriors and were/are exclusive to the Argentine territory 🇦🇷 * Native Americans does have Asian Dna as you know. I do put an emphasis on it because several others tribes in South America and most precisely Argentina in this case, can be found in other countries : The Diaguitas People can be found in the Northwest part of Argentina But some of them migrated to Chile during the 5th century so they are also présent in Chile .. And the reverse is also possible as Mapuches are famous ferocious warriors from actual Chile But invaded Argentina's southern lands centuries ago and stayed. Mapuches are not the only " invaders " since the Inca Empire 🌞 invaded the entierety of the Argentina's Northwest and called it " Collayusu " 😉
In the Netflix series it was claimed that Monzon smoke up to five pack of cigarettes some time in his boxing career. Manzon had THE tank. An absolute beast.
NO IMPORTA LO QUE DIGAN DE VOS CARLOS , TE EQUIVOCASTE Y PAGASTE POR ESO PERO CASI TODOS LOS ARGENTINOS TE RECORDAMOS POR EL GRAN DEPORTISTA QUE FUISTE
Monzon was a savage beast I don't think he could control it outside of the ring though such a shame could of achieved much more in his career still a legend in my opinion.
Nothing special about the Man except that he seemed to have mastered the basics. A mastery of the basics is the blueprint to longevity in any endeavor and Carlos Monzon was certainly a master of his craft
@@user-kq3ch8mq1x perhaps he didn't like training, but it'd be foolish to say he hardly ever trained. He was trained by Amilcar Brusa, after all. He just worked hard and partied harder, similar to Ruben Olivares and Edwin Valero.
@@jiggymgn Believe me he didn't train that hard at all if ever tbh... he only did it for cameras. He was a alcoholic and crazy smoker that had natural gifts which enabled him to fight without doing all that supposed hard work.. even Robert Duran didn't train that much or even that hard... some of the best were lazy bastards. Believe me I know.
A lot of abc title holders especially now adays [not GGG for the record] but Monzon is the longest reigning undisputed middleweight champion in the history of boxing. A latin king. The best middleweight ever.
Ever? Ever heard of Ray Robinson fool? And GGG is no exception if your gonna mention alphabet titles. Your are clearly biased and have an agenda. Monzon also was a murderer and a woman beater. Did you know that as well?
TCthaCrisis Did i ever hear of Ray Robinson? lol you idiot can't you read my name. Monzon holds the record in middleweight for succesful title defenses. Robinsons reign at middleweight was very short, not half of Monzons. Robinson kept loosing and winning. Monzon just won.
Talking boxing. Monzon was the greatest middleweight that ever lived. Robinson was the greatest welterweight that ever lived. I think Monzon was tougher than Robinson, mentally. When he had to do it. He did it. Robinson was great, but there were times when he lost. Monzon just stayed undefeated as a World Champion.
Manuel Di I was comparing Monzons reign in middleweight to Robinsons reign in middleweight. IMO Monzon is defenately a better middleweight but p4p Robinson is defenately better and at welterweight Robinson did as much as Monzon. Carlos did keep winning but he didn't have half the pro fights Robinson had and by half i don't mean that to be exaggerated. Some guys just fought a lot and didnt know when to stop. Monzon knew when to stop.
@@manueldi928 I guess you could say Monzon was tougher than Robinson mentally because why on earth would someone who boxes that badly go back to the ring to fight more than 80 times?
Carlos Monzon never lost and had the punch, speed and Boxing skills to beat tripple ggg Sugar Ray Robinson and Marvin Hagler. Best Middleweight ever and highly underrated!
I still don’t see Monzon beating Marvin Hagler, never ever! Hagler’s only so called loss was against the great Ray Leonard, but even that decision was highly controversial!! You keep saying Monzon was underrated and maybe he was, but Marvin Hagler was too, and held back for years.....Hagler had to do things the HARD way!! Look at the quality of his opposition compared to Monzon,......Antufermo, Hearns, Mugabe, Leonard, ......and Hagler was fast, had fantastic stamina and endurance, and had knockout power in both fists!! Sooner or later Hagler would have gotten to Monzon......both
@@steveturner609 Sorry. Leonard won that fight. Hagler was great no doubt. Even Monzon admitted as much. I don't think Hagler beats Monzon but we can't bend space and time and make it happen.
Carlos is so chilled in everything he does but there is a menace too in everting he does. The man was a serious tough guy. He hit the heavy bag so hard. A Peak Monzon v Peak Hagler would have been something.
Thats the odd thing about Monzon his boxing style reminds me of Bambi on ice, it ain't pretty but clearly it worked, i would have loved to see him fight Duran.
Still think the Marvellous one stops Monzon in the end- just too strong Hagler, and is the ultimate Warrior in the Ring! No doubting that Carlos Monzon was also a Boxing great too though!
Hagler lost, Hearns lost,Leonard lost...Monzon never lost being the world champion...the only fighter who could have made him a interesting fight was Robinson.
@@davidanton6682 hagler lost to sugar leonard, hearns lost by loenard and hagler and sugar by duran. The three in their title defenses. Monzon never lost a single defense thats why
Does anyone know that latin boxer who had great foot movement. I think it was in the 80s. Not too sure. Kind of like how Pacquiao moves around the ring....I forgot his name. Great movements.
Killing his wife who may have provoked him is not a reason to take away his greatness in the ring . Mike Tyson Mayweather and other boxers were accused of domestic violence or rape. Carlos Monzon was actually a kind and gentle man outside of the ring. He was a big puncher and Master boxer who would have beaten Hagler, Hearns, Duran and both Sugar Ray Leonard and Ray Robinson!!
Yes it does. He is a sick human, who the fuck gets provoked to a point where you throw someone off a balcony? Monzon's argintinian ass is getting put to sleep by everyone you mentioned plus GGG
You are talking about demeanor. Kindness implies moral strength; it's not something that disappears when you are feeling weak and bothered. Monzon was morally weak, and fell apart under the normal stress of life outside the ring. Good boxer though.
Nick Schneider you are talking complete nonsense. Nobody could beat Monzon, certainly not those ‘modern’ boxers who do not even know how is to fight 15 rounds. He was a gentleman, but when he killed his lady, it was not him. He was completely surrender to drugs and booze.
