Daniele Defranchis Guitar Yamaha NC5 Loop Station Boss RC-50 Amp: Roland AC60 Rec: Ambient mic+direct line from amp Recorded at FCAEC studio, Dalian, China
beautiful! nice sound on that guitar! how did you set the line in input, is it the mic inside the guitar or the piezo pickup that you used? and did the ambient mic get connected to the loopstation?
Hi! This is a Yamaha NCX5, it has a very special system inside. I use that one in the loop station. That one is connected to a Roland AC60. The Roland is connected to the mixer from its output channel. The ambient mic is taking the sound in the room, from the amp and goes in the mixer. Then I mixed the two sounds, line and ambient, about 60% ambient and 40% line
@@SchlimmShadySmash hahaha definitely harder to write than to do, believe me. It is only: guitar > loop station > amp, if you are looking for that sound. The mix is only to have it better sounding on recording. The big deal is the guitar you use. The NCX5 has a fantastic onboard mic that makes is sound so good and rich, almost like a real acoustic instrument. I recommend not to use the ambient mix in the loop station, or it will record and loop all the ambient sounds it catches.
@@Danieledefranchisguitarist Ah okay, thanks for the clarification. I'm looking for a good live stage setup for a nylon string guitar for an upcoming live performance... I just wish I knew if my Cordoba GK Studio Negra also has a good in built pick up system! I guess I'll research that now, and your guitar too. Thanks!
