Hoverbike parked up for your trip into the hot desert. Got a map with scorched holes from a shootout, drops of blood and a coffee stain in the corner, with a red X marked over a newly abandoned hyperium mine.
Its time to start a synthwave country/nation! neons everywhere, neons signs everywhere, 80's arcade and malls. Let us do this now, let us start a found racer haha, already like the first track, great job with the mix my man!
Campoleone. Not the town in Italy, the star system on the edge of the Inner Sphere. Last stop before the unknown . The Voidjumper's Memorial shines over mount Kenley, under the bright light of a G2 star. I come here sometimes, to leave flowers on empty tombs. Then i get the side exit, down the slope to Hamilton road, and have a drink at Ernani. Best Angel Face of all the Free Worlds, they brew their own Calvados, coupled with a cardamom scented Gin. Sitting here with my drink, i wonder every time if next jump will be the last one. Why am i stil going ? Greed, Wanderlust, there are places where a load of water gets paid like gold. Tomorrow, we leave again.
@@StarboyXL9 There is a little problem : i write in italian. With english language these short compact lines are the best i can do. " Hey, Blue Eyes. " Hermann Morr. I recongnize his voice and his unsettling habit of appearing from behind. He came around and sat at my table without waiting for an invitation. It is not like i hate him, mind you, we served together on the Paulette, years ago, but i know where he comes troubles come. " Seen the flowers at the Memorial. Knew you had to be here. " I sipped the last of my drink. " You are not here only to pay homage to the lost comrades, right ? " " Yes. I'm here to ask if you can still find the Stettin route to Alphard " " It is little more than a pirate point, and Alphard is a place of pirates and slavers, getting there is only half of the trouble. " Silence. he is staring at the last olive in the bowl, then stares at me. ... and i preceded him with a lightning left hand move. " Mine ! " " Tibet, it is not a Jumpship, it is four, with fifteen Dropsies. " ... " What ? " " The whole fleet of Andùrien. Word is that the Marians are sitting on a pile of Germanium and Her Highness the Duchess is interested.. They pay me to find someone who can take them there in one piece. Thats you.. "
Take the short verses and compile them. Then the editing process will fix any issues! I'm not really a sci-fi enthusiast but I'd buy a book written that well!!!
Playing this at work. Usually, I play some Classical or Violin instrumental (can't have lyrics or be 'too intense for work'. Can't offend anyone. No 'religious or indecent' music) but this counts as Workplace Appropriate! Also: had some people on DRG (Deep Rock Galactic) asking about my 'crazy good rave music' last night. You did a bangin job on this mix, m8! \m/ ROCK AND STONE
Awesome that you can play this music at work! Hells yeah glad to hear the DRG players were enjoying one of the mixes too 😁. Thank you very much, glad to hear the mixes are going down well!
@BS Warehouse. It's supposed to be like a giant garage but according to my Boss's Boss, someone got offended by Christian-Country music & then someone got offended by 'gangster shoot-em-up Trap House music' so he had to make a blanket 'no intense, religious, lyric, offensive' music, period. Which is stupid as FH because the Spanish-speaking guys still listen to their songs (Chuck Berry & Big Bopper) & Lift Drivers listen to their songs. (Rock & Metal) I am more partial to Sea Shanties & EDM. (Dropkick Murphy's & VnV Nation) But everyone likes my 'cool future computer music'! 'Sounds like Transformers on Vacation at a Beach'. ⛱️
“We landed about three solars ago, the last orbit around before we finally descended into high atmosphere and started planet fall nearly killed the boys in the lower deck with anticipation. We made it to Eurydice-3, the gem of Corps controlled Andromeda space. The freshly terraformed planet was a welcomed destination compared to the ice-ball we were just smoking Syndicate X-3’s on. On disembarkation, I had to tell the Pvt. Suzuki not to run straight to the bar, but how could I stop any of them once we saw what was waiting for us at the habzone pool? Women. Real women. Not skinjobs. Not Synths. Not Clones. Women. Pretty ones, too. The Corps had to have paid a fortune to have them flown this far out from the Central Rim. Even the male staff here are shredded, SSG. Rodriguez will have her hands full here. This place is a paradise, it has six tropical zones banded across it, each with mirco-oceans and environmental modulator stations to ensure it’s s climate stays optimal. The air is fresh, best of all none of it is coming through a rebreather. It’s heaven. Looking over the whole company, seeing them happy after all the hell we just came from, hearing their plans for when they make it back to Alliance space with their discharge papers, I’m reminded of it. This is why we go back to fight. This is why it’s worth protecting. This is what we fight for. Liberty.” -Cpt. Alexander ‘Javalina’ Nguyen United Alliance Pilot
"Well of course I wear a Hawaiian shirt in the cockpit. Mechs get hot you know. No, I guess the margarita isn't _strictly_ necessary, but hey not working for a House military has to have some perks, right?"
Perfect mix for a cozy Monday. I like how it went away from the previous ones, but is still in touch with them. It does give the impression of a relaxing but outworld leave.
Canopus. Always back to Canopus. Beyond the obvious pleasure palaces, there are more....sedate places. Oh sure, there's still such entertainments to be had. But more quietly, more discreet, more relaxed. The blurred line between Canopus for the tourists, and the Magistracy proper. Sometimes he considered retiring here. Oh, the Magistracy had it's problems, for sure. The Matriarchal society that ran things could be a bother. But the Taurians weren't as fond of letting people in, by a long shot. Emphasis on *shot* . And much of the Inner Sphere had it's own problems these days. And everywhere else in the Periphery had larger downsides. Perhaps he'd sign up for the MAF, one last tour, prove his worth, get some clout with the ladies who ran things around here, and then retire. Yeah, maybe. Maybe. Maybe not. But for now, he would bask in the Canopus sun.
Ohh I absolutely love this artwork (midjourney?) with this music! Really feels like relaxing after hellish drop in my Direwolf! This tan definitely from PPC flashes!
Still a great mix to crank out at 4am on me way to work. Toned down just that perfect 1 knotch for a smoother ride to cruise into work. Then throw on the other mixed and pump it out. Love it man awesome as always
This is fantastic, and your mixes are fantastic! Thank you SO MUCH from a pair of Mechwarriors who play Battletech every Monday to the music you share here on RU-vid!
This is an absolutely killer piece! You know you have good music when it stirs your soul, generates beautiful thoughts, and evokes deep emotions - in summation, you can feel this piece. Truly incredible. Your other works are great, too, Jason, but this is top-notch. Keep at it!
I know this mix is meant for chillin', but I use it to work out so I can be as chill as the dude in the photo. One day, when I'm in my mid-fifties, I want to visit a pool side bar in some tropical spot and have some kid ask if they can snap a photo of me because I look like this dude in some vintage music video by this classical artist.
Driving hard, chasing a setting sun West and my engine roars infront of me- it's a long way home thru the haze of a smoke filled night. I keep my windows down so I can smell the burning happening across the land and feel the cool spring air. The roads are empty & dark as I race home.Tom Cruise - Propagation plays with the volume turned up. I am alive, free, despite the chaos and destruction around me, I savor the moment of pure LIBERTY
Learn how to spell! If I were an commander of an mech unit I certainly would not let someone pilot even an Fireant were they to demonstrate an command of English such as yours. I would not even let you clean the blades of the lift fans on my hover Tank.🦍
Ah Solaris VII... Most people come here for the fights, but me? I come for the night life. Solaris is made to strip a MechWarrior of his or her C-bills in all the right ways, like an LBX strips armor off an Atlas. From the Pleasure Palace, and the "Gourmand" all the way to the bookies stall by the gates of the Arena, Solaris can fill your every desire- for a price. On most planets being a MechWarrior doesn't mean much- either their scared of what you can do, or pissed about how much money it's costing them. But on Solaris being a mech jock opens up the world to you. There's no other planet in the whole Inner Sphere where you can go out bar hopping with former Champions, Dukes or their Duchesses, a who's who of the Great Houses, not to mention sexy individuals of whatever gender you're into- and a bunch of salty Mercs on leave- like me. Who knows, you might even meet up with Duncan Fisher... anything is possible on Solaris!
I work in a university and usually have this playing during office hours for my students and colleagues. A few students have started to google battletech, so I'd say its a win.
Finally, some R&R after that last conflict that I thought would be our last. The backwater that is Tukayyid became the center of the conflict. It's where we stopped the Clanners cold. I brought my best pilots and best gear to the field - the Com Guards paid us the best. They came from the void, the dark unknown. I've seen some things but that was unreal. The tech they had was beyond next gen. We made it though, well, most of us any how. Relaxing on Oriente, I try to not think about the hell we just went though. I made a boat load of cash; enough where I can stop this merc work and maybe start a "normal" life. Then again, what is "normal?" That's a problem for later. Right now, I'm going to take in the view, enjoy not getting shot at, and sip on my Timbiqui Dark and slide gently into a long overdue nap.
I have to say the dissonance in a lot of these tracks os not appreciated at least for me. It doesn't really go with the vibe imo. It's like, is this euphoria "ironic"? What is that.
Another great mix Jason. Perfect way to relax while painting my Ghost Bear Dominion star. It's a mishmash of mechs, just like the Ghost Bears themselves. King Crab, Mad Dog, Ice Ferret, Viper, and Fire Moth.
Listened to this first time after spending the evening playing a few matches, running through it again while waiting in the queue. Works perfectly either way :)
