Here is a short review of my new Liberty Colonial 50 that I purchased from a local gun store near me. I was in a Winchester 36 gun that I grew out of rather quickly. I wanted to invest in a long term safe that I would have room to grow into. Here is a full list of parts that I displayed in the video. Just bought the same safe 9/18/21 only in the gray color or as the store manager called it a brozne.I went with the dial lock instead of digital.I bought a Fort Knox Safe 21 years ago and it has the dial lock on it so I just feel more comfortable with the dial lock.Thanks for the review

How much weight can the shelves handle? Trying to decide on the regular, or Extreme interior option. Will have more ammo than guns.

Not 100% sure. The smaller shelves can handle more weight spanning a further distance. You can add some tubing under the shelves to help support more weight.

Does the door open more than perpendicular to the face? I just ordered two and I am trying to figure placement.

Yes it does. It’s around 180 degrees give or take.

@@ADMLawnCare Went and looked at the safes again yesterday. - The Liberty Colonial 50's door swings open roughly 94 degrees before mechanically stopping; so just a smidge past perpendicular. - The Liberty safes that did open beyond that, were the ones with external hinges. - Just an update in case any one needs the info.

@@BoostedVQUR I didn’t have to worry about that when looking at different brands when I was making my decision. I like how liberty doesn’t use the round door pins and instead the one piece metal plates.

What’s your doorway size? I’m trying to buy this model but I’m concerned it won’t fit in my 29.5” doorway

The doorway is 32” in the room it’s in. I have some heavy duty steel plates with casters welded to it that I used to move. I put the safe on that roller and pushed it through the door vertically with not much room to spare.

What is the height measurement from the inside bottom to the bottom of the shelf that has the cut out for your shot gun barrel to go through wondering if ky longest would fit under the shelf

36” to first shelf with the barrel slots. 48” to the middle shelf with the slot in the right for long guns. 60” to the top shelf.

@@ADMLawnCare hell yeah thanks man both my 12 gauge are 26 inch barrels 46 inches overall so they should fit under it. I’m wanting to do rifle rods so wanted to make sure I could keep it all under that 48 inch shelf

@@zachholcombe yes. Either way the slot on the right shelf gives you the ability to put several guns up to 60” long.
