I wish they would have talked about folate vs folic acid. Too many people do not know about that, look up The MTHFR gene mutation. Scary that doctors still prescribe folic acid without mentioning it... I also find very interesting that the foods usually prescribed for blood deficiency in TCM are the same for fertility! thank you for this great interview.
In lay terms: Folate - describes different forms of B9. Naturally forming in nature - leafy green veg, citrus fruits, beans. This is what Drs measure in your blood. Folic acid- synthetic form of folate in supplements and in fortified foods. Effective in preventing neural tube defects of the fetid. What doctors tend to prescribe when you have low folate.

Get your vit d levels tested at the GP and then I like better you vit d sorest with K2 and I always take it every day as does my little one she has the children’s one
