Wherein our hero Durfee takes you on a tour of his Science Fiction, Fantasy, & Horror book collection. #LibraryTour #BookCollection #BrianLeeDurfee heck out my other Library Tour Videos • LIBRARY TOUR #2 / NON-...
I love how excited he gets perusing his shelves of adventure. I feel the same way when I rarely show off my own library. Halfway through I think: “why am I yelling?”
Here's what set's you apart from everyone else that has a book show as you do. Your enthusiasm and super up lifting attitude. Your having fun as much as we are. Great collection as well.
You didn't disappoint. I was wondering if you were going to say "JAED CITY!!!" when you worked your way over to that book, and of course you did ! Proving not all heroes wear a cape.
I just keep coming back to this video because the sight is just beautiful 🤣 how do you have more to offer than my town’s actual library!? 🌚 that’s mad.
Oh Lord, that Malazan set has me weak! God, I'd love a matching set like that. The hardcovers are so hard to find and so expensive. An absolute fantastic collection sir!
I'm envious of your Terry Brooks collection. I will be working on that in the next couple years myself! Your fantasy/sci-fi collection is second to none. Rock on!
I had to come and say thank you for mentioning Stephen R Donaldson, he's one of my all time favorite authors. It's such a shame he's not more known, but I've watched a ton of bookshelf tours and nobody has them. His Gap series is right up there with Dune and his Thomas Covenant fantasy is just amazing and genre defining. Amazing collection all around. Thanks for sharing!
@@B.LEE.DbrianleedurfeeREVIEWS yeah I went back and watched them all. I haven't read his new series either, waiting for it to be done first. Sadly, if you follow him on his website he's had trouble getting the third book published because of poor sales. It is due out this year finally but it's a shame such a great author is virtually unknown today.
Loving the content I just found out about you through other book tubers and I don't regret looking you up. You seem awesome and genuine I'm gonna cheack out Forgetting moon soon and alot of those books you have on your shelf. Also I like just about every genre you have shown on your channel not every fantasy booktuber shows other things beside fantasy and I enjoy all you do keep it up sir!
You have such an amazing collection!! That King collection ❤️! I had to show my family your shelves they thought I had a lot of King. Watching your tour on commercial breaks, let’s go Raiders!!!!
I love David Weber, frank herbert, Dan Simmons, Timothy zahn especially the Star Wars legends which were originally cannon, Margaret Weiss, Tracy Hickman….and I’m sure more to come but I have a ton of good sci-fi reading to do.
I think you should try reading the great Russian science fiction of the Strugatsky brothers and Zamjatin or the great Polish Stanislaw Lem author of Solaris and The Invincible. They are authors of considerable technical and intellectual depth.
Fantastic library, have a similar collections, but unfortunately can't display them all, I am so jealous. The Chung Kuo series is impossible to find. David Wingrove was writing an expanded version in hard cover, went six books (planned at 20) and then stopped publishing. I would love to be able to read this series thru.
Nice collection. Please don't scream in the next video. Startled the water outta me. Nice library, lots of good stuff. Glad to see the John Gwynne in there. I think he's one of the best newer authors out there. I'm a old guy so it seems I buy mostly Kindle books these days. None of my family cares about my books really. A shame. Still buy nonfiction in paper. And if I had money it would be hardback first editions. Alas, I am poor. Thanks for the cool video.
G'day Bry. Have you ever checked out Australian author Sara Douglass? I read her Axis trilogy years back and liked it a lot. The first book is called Battleaxe. As a fantasy and heavy metal fan born in the early 80s I couldn't pass it up
Ugh. You are singlehandedly making me poor. Ebaying up all the 80s covers of books I read in middle and high school and then stupidly threw away and now want back. Plus SOOOOO many new books to read. Have you honestly read all of those? I'm assuming you have. I have a vigorous collection, but am too slow of a reader and haven't gotten through several of them yet. Now, the guilt list of books owned and not read is getting longer...
