Time well spent. You are not only a GREAT TEACHER. It was a pleasure to listen to Your soothing, calm voice. Believe me, it helps all of us, who are frustrated by using the computers. Thank You, Jaroslaw
I just installed LibreOffice and used Writer. It was much, much easier to use thanks to your simple, clear, concise video. Thanks.for the outstanding job!
Are you still there? This is one of the very best videos on any tutorial. It's so helpful. I'm new to Libraoffice and would appreciate a tutorial on how to spellcheck and grammar check. Thank you
Very well done for making such a clear and easy to follow tutorial. I have been using Libre Office for years and I found out a lot of stuff I didn't know!
Charlie: thanks for this excellent series of making Libre Office pragmatic to use. Charlie, I have a question for ya. My document for a novel has one page justified left the next justified right throughout the document. So, is there a quick fix to this problem? Thanks Charlie. :)
Hi Charli at Free It Athens, would you kindly explain how I can rotate all pages in a PDF counter clockwise to be in landscape mode - and also how to get rid of the blank page (not needed) underneath the rotate page?
You're a great teacher! I want to design a paperback book cover to look like leather. I'll need a photo of leather in the background, and the title printed atop the leather image. How do I import such a photo into Libre Office from another source? Also, is there a way to move files from Libre Office to Libre Writer?
Thanks for the tutorial. Not sure what I did? but when I open writer up I no longer have pages in columns anymore, ie; page 1 is on the right of the window, page 2 is on the left of the window and page 3 is next to is on the right, page 4 on the left etc. Do you know how to fix it? PS the documents I created already, are in order. I'll bookmark this video and check back periodically. I'll keep looking for videos to see if anyone has an explanation? I'll keep trying different questions. Cheers
This on behalf of my husband who is writing a document and is getting more and more frustrated when he can't do what he wants to do with it. Probem: He has written 14 pages; on page 7 he wants to add another paragraph at the end; there appears to be lots of space; when he types the first line of the add on and moves to the next line, all the last lines in the document go down two spaces so they end up at the top of the page beneath them. This puts the whole document out of alignment. This seems so simple but we can't find a solution. Can you help?
Hi, thanks for the tutorial. I just converted from Word to Libre office. I have been having a devil of a time with trying to insert another document into my main document. The insert document is a preformated 'calendar' for one month, with spaces that I can enter info into. But sometimes, I just need to delete a whole page from the document (i.e., the calendar) and I can not seem to figure it out. When I highlight the whole 'last page' (the calendar) and hit delete it cuts out my text, but leaves all the formatting. I suppose this is a dumb question, but how do I get rid of it?
