You said that mana rocks and lands aren't restricted by the Zirda restriction at 1:37, but it seems you are incorrect on this as they are permanents. Say you wanted to run a land that didn't have an activation cost, you couldn't.....Halls of Mist would be one such card.
I'd love to know what, if anything, you'd add to this deck with the more recent sets. Also I just got this deck together and it's a ton of fun. I cannibalized my Edgar Markov deck for the mana base and cards like Vito thorn of the dusk rose and the deck just works really well. Zirda makes a lot of fun plays viable. Tons of value.
I got the Castlevania Sorin not too long ago and was looking for a good commander. I was torn between licia and Edgar charmed groom, but this is not something I ever would have came up with on my own. Very unique deck idea, this video needs more views
