Hi John. Of the two Lickity s that I used to own, one always had an air issue causing the ram to "jump" when shifting from fast speed to slow. The other one always worked perfectly. The only thing that improved that jump issue was to keep the wedge end lower. The beam was always headed down hill. You need to be careful when that plug is removed because there will be suction if the ram is moving forward in the low pressure, fast speed mode. I can't do a video to explain because I don't have a two speed anymore. Be sure your tank is full and has the correct oil. Maybe I can do a video with my drawings.
