Great Vid. Just one pointer: tie up the legs and let it settle after the heat before carving. At 2plus pounds we need to let it rest at least 10 minutes before carving and loosing a lot of the juices from this protein. The drippings -need to be saved and should never end-up in the sink.. But cheers for your enthusiasm!. Much appreciated! By the way - I just bought one as well.
Don’t wash all that fat down the sink unless you want to block it ! Let it cool wipe off with kitchen roll discard now wash up . Simon you didn’t wipe he inside clean before using it , your sure gonna have to clean it now !
Smoke coming out the side of the door is that normal or what? I can see in your video that there's no smoke. But I found one channel that says it's just normal but I really don't know.
I just bought one and there is moisture in between the two screens. I am worried there is a defect does it go away on its own? I noticed you have moisture build up too. Can someone let me know hw this works? Thank you so much because I am ready to return it.
Thanks! Great video - but would have been helpful if you would have sliced into the wings to make sure that the juices are running clear to make sure it is fully cooked.
Too much hassle. $4.99 for a delicious and massive seasoned and fully cooked and ready to eat Rotisserie chicken at Costco (a pound heavier than this one) is the best food deal ever and will get you several meals. But air fryers in general are awesome.
@@realaleguide I also got an S5, welcome to the Panasonic autofocus nightmare. The S5 is much better though than a lot of theire older cameras. But its not as good as Sony and Canon for autofocus. You need to play around alot with the autofocus settings which one works the best for you. I'm using my Patreon content to play with my cameras. Cheers, good luck with the s5!
Yeah I toyed with the idea of going with Sony but their new one was just so bloody expensive, it would have been a terrific upgrade for the channel though.
Yes to expensive, I where thinking about the FX3. But came to the same solution as you. Bought the S5 this summer instead on a sale. Your on the 20-60mm kit lense?
Hi great product however is anyone else having problems with their touchpad on the airfryer? We took one back because couldn't get the touchpad to work consistently.. and now the 2nd one has the same problems, is there are film on the touchpad or something, although I can't see one and I've looked any help is appreciated .. both my husband I have tried but it's just not working properly xxx
i have one of des they are flipping brill got it as a xmas prezzy so even better also it makes lovley roast pork but it has to be a small one not to big as you need a lil room for a drip try i use mine for fuss free cooking when i have my fam or a group over as for chips very nice it even can roast tattys a lil tip with a roast chiken put a lemon insided it next time it really gose into the meat maybe even some herbs if thats yer thing
"You just grab hold of the fat from the tray...get shot of it...chuck it in the sink!" LOL, I don't think your local water company will be too pleased with that advice there, Simon. Fatbergs, ahoy!
@@rtyrtyrtyus Yes, restaurants, or if you have much more, like a few liters from the classic fryer. We have a special waste bins just for oils in our city and I think the oils get recycled for something useful.
I don't think this was a 2lb chicken. It must have been a 2kg one, if it was a large one. Just in case viewers cook a 2lb chicken for 1 and a half hours, which would not taste good!
I have one, I haven't tried roasting the whole chicken yet, but I've done a little bit of everything. Does your door get foggy after it shuts down for a few hours?
Has anybody had the problem of the rotisserie not turning? I bought a used one, and that seems to be the only problem on it. The basket turns about an inch or two, and then drops back, whether it has chips in or not. I have made sure it's properly installed, as far as I know. Thanks.
Hi,, great video, but what I want to say has already been said, but I'll say it again.... Don't put any grease down your sink. If you keep doing it, it eventually builds up and makes a real damm mess of your waste pipes, blocking them up completely,, other than that I enjoyed your video, thanks 👍👍
