Saw them in 2003, one of few bands where you have to see them live. Listening to an audio track from one of their albums doesn’t come close to compare to how they can amplify that the album live. Boyd is a once in a lifetime talent !
I'll take this version of the band everyday!!! Butch complimented this band so well and they gave him his space to do his thing...miss that with him, loved his playing... Timmy being a guest worked for me more also...once he joined the band in seemed he soloed on every song...kinda got old quick...sometimes less is more... Agreed. He brought the great energy everytime. Watching him and Carter do solos and seeing how amazed Dave gets by their skill is so cool. I've seen them so many times and it's just not the same without Boyd
I went to every DMB show in Camden up before 2006. I think I was only inside once and a group of young girls were sitting behind me screaming their heads off. I couldn’t hear the music. I prefer lawn seats.
