I like the mix of mechanics taken from inspirations, twisted into something that makes it your own. A lot of similar games have come out which is exciting, this one may be the most well polished. Hoping there's a good amount of weapon variety. Looks great!
last interview with the devs said that they have 70% of the game complete- meaning they still have plenty of time to clean a few things up! game already looks amazing though!
It sounds like something is missing. Just quietly running around makes it seem like an incomplete game. Something more has to be added. more environmental sounds or even some original music, something. The world just seems absolutely dead. Like the developers just made a static map and threw the character in and a few random enemies. The world doesn't feel alive. idk, it's hard to explain
Some developers add in music near the very end of development, so I'm sure this silent world is not going to be the case in the final release. I personally kind of like that there's no music sometimes, it gives a better idea of what it's like to be in the playable character's shoes, and I can listen in closer on details of the sound effects and environment. Though I do understand that for now, Lies of P's world sounds boring and unfinished. If it's not just the music, maybe the sounds of the environment will change.
probably cause the song isn't done yet sometimes some songs get finished very late in the game dev (like for example Daredevil from Ace Combat 7 that song deadass delayed the game but at the same time it was so worth it cause it's bloody fantastic)

Way too much of the Steampunk technology doesn't look steampunk. These machines don't look like they were built the materials and resources that were available in the Victorian era. The excellent sound design only makes everything else look worse by comparison.
I know this was a year ago but where did people get this steampunk idea from?!? The promotional material does not look steampunk in the slightest it looks like the belle Epoque era france
Hmmm pretty shameless regarding its inspiration. It’s extremely difficult to pull off a souls like game and have it feel of the same quality. It’s never been done before as far as I know.
O jogo está muito bem feito, na parte dos inimigos os combos são muito rápidos, porém parece que na luta com chefes o jogo fica arrastado como se ainda não estivesse finalizado, é parece bem mais lento que o normal, ou talvez seja só minha percepção de quem fez o vídeo...
