They're working to keep young people out of trouble, abusive environments and off the streets. Last year, San Diego Youth Services estimates it helped 16,000 kids in San Diego County. The director says they don't turn away at-risk troubled youngsters. Instead, they seek them out. An outreach group hits the streets six nights a week, looking for those in need of help. We met one: a young mom trying to turn her life around.
