Divorce felt to me like a death in my life. Except with this death you only have the added fear of seeing your spouse with the other person. I was afraid to shop in our small town for fear of seeing him.
I find singleness to be challenging at times, but also rewarding too. I do desire to be married again after 6 years of seperation/divorce. But what I am learning to accept is the plan the Lord has for me. If it is marriage, then let it be so. But if not, let it be so. I rather be doing the will of God then to do my own will. For His will is perfect and as good for my soul and well being.
I stumbled upon this and it’s what I needed to hear. I divorced for the second time in 2013. I felt so alone and unclean, judged and topic of discussion by the gossip people for a long time. I pray for everything as well.. big and little things. I’ve prayed for all these years to have a God loving spouse. In recent weeks I decided to accept that God’s plan for Me maybe for me to be alone so I can focus on His work. Last Saturday night a friend texted that a mutual friend had ask for my phone number. Now I’m in a relationship with a man that Loves God. I’m Thankful for the growth I’ve experienced these last 9 years as I was being prepared for someone and they were being prepared for me.
Am in my waiting period coz am believing God for my husband and this video has greatly encouraged me not to give up and to hold on to his word that he has a wonderful plan for my life.

I needed to hear this because after my divorce I feel as though I'm not in the will of God anymore and wondering how I'm going to get back in God's will. I was a co pastor at my ex-wife's mother's church who was the Senior Pastor. I was there for about 20 years. Since I had to leave that church I just feel kind of lost although I joined another church. I haven't ministered in over 3 years now. This testimony is giving me hope that I still have a future and God still has a plan for me.
I went through a divorce the worst thing that almost destroys me was that I broke my word to God even though my ex husband was the one who divorced me because he wanted to continue in a adulterous relationship. God healed me completely I also forgive him God have since then blessed me with a true husband a born again Christian who loves God Deeply and also loves and honor me daily
I met my husband at 16, and foolishly made him my god. So that made two of us who worshipped him! 19 years later he left me and our 2 sons. I was devastated. Many many years later I still have trouble with this, but I do know that we were unequally yoked. Even so, a marriage is not supposed to end by just breaking a covenant and it can have very long lasting effects. I have a purpose and I’m okay with life, but divorce is the absolute most difficult thing I’ve gone thru because he is still alive and the marriage is gone. My 2nd husband passed away, but I could deal with the loss of him knowing he would never be sick again. Divorce from the one you love is heartbreaking. Thank You for talking about it.

Teresa, I was divorced 28 yrs, raised 2 children, before meeting any man. 3 yrs later, we were married. I didn't feel I was missing out during most of my husbandless yrs, but I believe it was bcz God took it away. I rmmbr thinking 1 day, "would I be able to share this with someone?" From that moment, I began practicing to share my kids, my home, my life. I rmmbr consciously thinking "I would be able to share this by doing this or giving this or asking this".... I began really praying for the man God had for me. I would ask God to send love to him, to let him know I was out there waiting for him. I became very specific in prayer, blessing him. It didn't take long, in retrospect, but during THAT time (a few yrs), I did feel the loss, the desperate desire, several times. But, it wasn't long before my husband came along. I even fought it for abt 2 yrs! Not believing he was the one. I even married him not truly knowing. But he WAS the one sent to me. He wasn't perfect, but I wasn't perfect, so I had to realize this, that this wasn't God's perfect plan (heartbreak, divorce, many other bad things, then finally marrying again), but I have the love & acceptance I've always dreamed abt. We are TRULY ONE. I believe your love is coming, Teresa. Start to PREPARE for him! Step out in faith. I lost my husband suddenly 6 months ago and I agree with you that noone truly understands the pain and loneliness unless they have gone through it. I love the Lord and trust him, but I don't feel His touch or hold his hand even though I know God is there it is not the same as a spouse.
I not ever getting married again. I moving on just me. God got me . And life is good as me just being me . You do not have to.marry again to.just love your life. I love nature, reading books , meditation with God my.father in heaven . It's ok to not be married and it's ok.to.just be you and be single and happy with that.

King David was depressed at times. Sometimes we have to encourage our own selves in the Lord. Praise Music helps. Singing to God helps. Reading scripture and praying with Godly women help.

It's so sad that women feel like they (need ) a man. And I have seen and heard of so many stories of women marrying a so-called Christian and turns out to be completely the opposite after 6 months of marriage. I don't think God is really that interested in trying to find women another man to marry, that's just my opinion. But women want to be married so bad and they will push the issue(praying) for God to give them another husband and go against God's Will and then we end up in a really bad relationship, so women please don't feel like you have to have a man! You have to get married and you're never going to be happy unless you have a man! I don't care when anyone tells you whether it's a Christian program or your next door neighbor, the truth is most of us are not going to find another man to marry nor will we be completely fulfilled once we get the man in our life!

For me, remarriage worked out to be a true blessing to a wonderful Godly man. I believe it was because, coincidentally, neither of us were looking for mate. We both had left that up to God's Will. A mutual friend who knew us both for a long time, prayed for over a year and then introduced us. God works in mysterious ways! God bless all my Christian sisters and brothers.

You are never alone. Romans 8:38-39 reminds us that nothing can separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. I know it isn't always easy to feel God's presence, but He is always there. I have found that when I am at my lowest I sometimes don't feel God because I feel unworthy and I create a barrier as I seek to hide from God. But much like God did to Adam and Eve, He is there calling to me. Start to feed yourself in His word, even though you may not feel like it, and allow Him to gift you the comfort He promises to those who mourn. I pray you find the peace of God and are encouraged, as the victory is already yours. It isn't easy my friend, but it is worth it and God will certainly help you through.
Joni is a great example of Hosea . She did not get a divorce when her husband fell. She showed the Almighty Love and Grace of Christ. Christian divorce is as high as non Christian divorce mainly because the sin of pride and selfishness. When Jesus is Lord of your marriage and the Fruit of the Holy Spirit will make your marriage last for the rest of your lives. All Glory to God!
Don't be too quick to advise on what you have not experienced. That same speech is why my friend's sister died without her two front teeth. She was told to forgive repeatedly by her preacher brother. She was cheated upon repeatedly and beaten as well.
Of course . In cases of violence the victim s must go to police. And press charges. Many violent never repent. I'm a victim of child abuse by my Christian violent rich mom. My nose was broken. I had to forgive myself for not calling the cops. The church school and dad nothing. I fled at 18. I still have PTSD

(19:27 - 20:45 video) For women without parents and family, they can even go to sources like Christian (both Catholic and Protestant) television/media, such as Daystar. Truly, hearing good people, being in their presence even via television, can help tremendously. Above all else, listen to His voice.
If you ask and dont receive it, it could be because it was with wrong motivation, asking for something ridiculous, hindrances from doubt, and unbelief, or because it's not the right time, but nevertheless God is not a liar.

I'm amazed at how a marriage (male and female) is implied to be on the same platform as a person's marriage relationship with the Lord. He had some tight statements about human relationships and a person's relationship with him. Marriage is spoken of in scripture as an institution in time, yet I have not seen where it's continuat ion is in eternity in scriptural reference in the past 32 years

I too was given medication then I found scripture to help. No medication. Jesus and Holy Spirit all any of us need for stress and anxiety.
Your show is very encouraging but I say this with love. There is no shame in divorce but we are not to remarry. We have been deceived in this thinking. I have been married and divorced twice and I was going through my second divorce when I got saved. I started dating again and for about a year as I was dating the Lord kept leading me to scripture in the Bible about divorce but I still wasn't understanding and why would I, so many in the church are married two and three times. One morning when I was waking I heard the Holy Spirit say " do you know the difference between a request and a command "? And of course I thought that I did. A couple months went by and this was heavy on my heart so I continued to ask Jesus about it and He led me to a couple RU-vid shows where they were talking about this very thing and that God showed them that after they divorced they were not to remarry and God only sees your first marriage as covenant. He says let no thing tear apart what he has put together and He makes you one. So I continued to look for loop holes( no joke ) as I continued to pray about it, and I told Jesus, I still did not understand His question about a request and a command and ask Him to show me. So I randomly opened my Bible and it took me straight to the ten commandments. As I looked down, there it was....THOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTRY. I don't share this to debate and argue but I do hope it blesses someone with truth.
If one allows God to trust them with there spouse I believe divorce would be heard of. That's not to say there won't be challenges. Also the few people I've heard that believe what you believe have misunderstood the context of it. You claim to of heard the holy spirit on this matter and I know others who have and God has remarkable bought them a spouse which was undeniable God. So If what your saying is true then alot are deceived and the devil is deciding people by giving them great marriages and pretending to be God.
