every body is different and takes different time to recover. I'm 21 and had my gallbladder removed 12 days ago through leproscopy. i still feel pain in my tummy and little bit in my incisions. i feel like doing nothing whole day but to sleep as i feel really tired. I'm also on a very healthy diet and still not fully recovered. so it's totally okay if you're not able to recover in 5-6 days as told by other patients and doctors. just be patient, eat healthy and think positively.

I have the same surgery in last week,I recovered almost 85%,my stiches will be removed tomorrow After operation doctor told me to take rest but don't stay lying on the bed full day,he advised me walking after every 2hours for atleast 10minute ,that will help me in healing the wounds and give body a proper strength

Sir my sister got operated in 2004 when she was only 3, for Choledochal cyst resulting in removal of the Gall Bladder. Things remained uneventful upto the age of 18, but nowadays she's complaining of severe abdominal pain below the sternum(she is 21 now) She has undergone various investigations including LFT, ultrasound and endoscopy but no abnormality was reported. Kindly suggest the reason for the pain as well as remedy and restrictions of food habits, if any.

Follow a proper diet And take ur bf, lunch, tea and dinner in a fixed time for lifetime and take some medication for ur loosemotion and avoid some meats U can eat fish but not very spicy 👌🏻

I underwent laparoscopic surgery for removal of my gallbladder in December 2021. I am 69. Initially I had severe constipation problem. After 2 months or so there is slight improvement in bowel movement, but I have to exert slight pressure every time during evacuation; bowels are not getting evacuated at one time fully. Then lots of gas get accumulated in the abdomen and it will get released during evacuation. Please guide me as how to come out of this problems.

Sir, I am 67 years old - it is 4 weeks I had my gallbladder removed - I am much relieved now from my earlier problem - I follow a good healthy diet - started walking exercise from 3rd week - no constipation - good appetite -but chest tightness after meal due to gas continues - lately from last 3 days I am having a loose motion once or twice in between during the day. Sir, will I have to suffer this chest tightness and diahorea in future for lifetime ? Or will I have to wait for my body to adjust digestion ect... ? Sir, shall b grateful for your advise. Thank you ( one of your advise at the end that it will take 5 to 6 month for my body to adjust digestion has somewhat relieved me of fear)

My gall bladder removed in 2006 at age of 20 yrs...I would suggest not to remove it until and unless there is life threat, since my whole life is ruined because of it. I can not eat outside in any hotel any party any relatives home or any normal tapvwater, it will give instant diarrhoea. It's my experience of 15 years till now, those suffering should try to have homeopathic treatment it works. It's a lifetime punishment if you remove gall bladder

Exceptions are there. But we do not have any option if surgery is required. Bile interfers with intestine causing loose motion and can cause Irritable Bowel Syndrome and if this happens life becomes very depressive.

Mere gall bladder mai 1.1cm ka stone the 3 week phle mujhe achanak unbearable pain hua toh mai doc ke pass gyi toh pta chla ki gall bladder mai stone mai or doc ne surgery krke gall bladder remove krna pdega bole toh mai daar gyi phir unhone mujhe 22 june 2023 ka operation date diya tha or pain ki medicine di thi but next week hi vapis pain start hogya or medicine de bhi pain khtm ni hua toh phir doc ne mujhe admit kiya and aaj hi meri surgery krke gall bladder remove kiya hai 6/06/2023 ko abi tk toh mai admit hu and continue pa killers and drip de rhe hai. I hope mujhe aage koi dikkt naa ho.

Very much informative. Sir 2020 december me meri laproscopic gallstone surgery huyi hai. Lekin abhi bhi mujhe right lower abdomen and upper abdomen centre me bich bich me pain hota hai. Maine Md ko dikhaya Dr ne kaha ye pain bahut din tak rahta hai. Is karon se mai bahut disturbed hoon. Ye pain kya normal hai Sir ? Plse guide me. I am from Kolkata.
