ELL you are doing amazing. Women deserve so much more credit for what we accomplish. I too , had C-sections with both of my boys. With the second our house was up for sale and 2 weeks after he was born, my husband called me from work and said the lady who bought our house wanted it in 2 days. I called my mom and she came to help pack up and found me on a chair pulling pots and pans out of my cabinets. Wow, did she yell at me 😂😂

I mean no matter how much you relax, infertility sometimes just need medical intervention to overcome. We wouldn't have gotten pregnant without it. Loved you showing your real arguments, this is every couple.

You're so right about 1 being easier after twins. We had our twins first and now have 5 children. Baby into childhood stages were a breeze because we were PRO'S by then. Don't forget about the teenager stage though... that surprised us the most! We now have 3 teenagers and a tween all at the same time. Much harder than anticipated, lol!

I really appreciate your honesty especially Ellen’s about her expressing journey. I don’t have children myself but it was one of my huge pet peeves when my sisters had children the amount of pressure put on them from the hospital! Congratulations to you both 💙💙 xx

I LOVE hearing about c-sections (good and bad) I had an emergency csection with my first, expected the absolute worst but was absolutely fine and had around 2 days where I struggled to walk far then was absolutely fine, fully healed within 2 weeks and did everything I normally would at that point. With my second pregnancy I had an elective csection because of my previous experience and went in assuming it would go like my first, except it was the complete opposite, everything went wrong and I took 10 weeks to heal! I love to hear everyone's experience because knowledge is key and it helps people in so many ways. You are both brilliant. Can't wait to see more of your life with the boys x

Love the honesty here, especially about the missing the attention from your partner and how mums tend to be forgotten about postpartum...so true and so relatable. Also how wholesome it was when Fab immediately showed some affection to you after saying it🥰 you guys are an amazing team!!!

I love listening to you guys talk and you are doing such an amazing job. Parenting is hard work but as long as you communicate and remember that your relationship comes first and that the best thing you can give your children is a loving example, then you all will thrive as a family. It's important, even if it's just for an hour, to have time as a couple to reconnect. Infertility is such a difficult thing. Having gone through 10 IUI's and then eventually being successful with IVF, I can relate so much. People telling us to relax was like a knife to the heart. We actually decided to have a sit down with both of our immediate families and close friends right before we did IVF to explain the process and what we'd be going through, with the hope of taking a bit of the stress off and telling them how best to help us. They were so appreciative, and when it worked they also had this sense of accomplishment. They knew not to ask questions during it and they trusted that when the time was right we'd share with them. Thankfully it did work but even if it hadn't, it would have been just as beneficial, if not more so. I encourage people to be open with the people they are closest too and who they trust. People don't know what you're going through if you don't tell them. Also, be open to their support because most people really want to be supportive and helpful. Anyways, you're doing awesome and the boys are already growing and changing so much. Having a baby during the holidays makes it extra special. I had my daughter at the end of October and it's such a wonderful time of the year.

You both are doing BRILLIANTLY! Twenty four years ago I had my son at 39. I was SO SO Knackered! 😶 My partner and I used to be in a daze doing night time feeds, we were both a bit shell shocked after so many years of child free and care free lives…but you get yourselves into some kind of rhythm ….and it’s okay!!!! It’s really really knackering but it’s just that lovely feeling of knowing that it’s just SO right. Honestly Ell, I’m So impressed with the fact that you always manage to look so beautiful and so turned out. If I managed to get a bit of lippy on I felt great… even if I had a splash of vomit on my shoulder! You both are just the most natural parents, it’s wonderful to watch you take such care of them as you do. Xxxxxx

Loved you doing a Q&A! I’ve recently had some news with having PCOS and not ovulating etc so I’m going to go back and watch your videos as I remember watching them and thinking I need to remember these for when we’re TTC as I already worry about how hard it might be. Xx

The one thing I’ve always heard from mums is emergency c sections are crazy recovery but planned c sections are better recovery and also the fact you stayed active all pregnancy probably played a huge role in your recovery

It’s me again!! You really cheer me up, I wish I lived near u as I would love to give u a hand, I’ve got a chronic pain condition so some days (like today!!) I hardly get up and I love to hear how you are all getting on.🥰 I remember having my first at 21 and was so tired, my mum said “ don’t worry, the first 12 weeks are the worst”; I still had another 6 to go!!🤣 That son is 27 on Friday so I guess I managed! We have 5 boys now so don’t let that put u off either. You are naturals at parenting and your little boys are so lucky.💖💙💙💙xxxxx

Hi Fab and Ell, I’ve had 4 children, 3 natural deliveries and my last was delivered by emergency c-section and when he came out I started hemorrhaging and lost a lot of blood so it took me along time to recover and I needed surgery to find out where I was bleeding from. I think your amazing Ell after having twins both of you are already amazing parents. I’m with Ell I missed my pregnant tummy after I had my children. Fab, the babies will be fine tucked up in their pram whilst you have a walk with them it will do them good to be out in the fresh air. I understand the anxiety and the nerves I was the same with my first, but they will be fine they are stronger than you think they are. I have enjoyed this Q and A and thanks for taking time out of your busy day to film a video. Those precious boys ❤❤xxx

Ell, not sure if you’ve heard about it, but that peculiar feeling that you feel when you breastfeed could be - Dysphoric Milk Ejection Reflex (D-MER) .. which is an abrupt emotional "drop" that occurs in some women just before milk release. I’ve felt this a few times! It eventually passes. Just wanted to say you’re doing great mama !

Ell’s right. Get the boys wrapped up warm and get outside in the fresh air. Get them meeting neighbours on the street or shopkeepers in the local shops. Small amounts of lots of germs is the way to build up a strong immune system ( plus mother’s milk).

If you’re considering more kids already then you guys are doing amazing haha. I can’t imagine having two newborn babies and even thinking about it. Although I really did not love the newborn stage so that might be it! ❤

21:46 I asked this question 🥲 thank you so much for answering this. I’ve prayed for this baby for a long time my other 2 boys are 14 and 11 and struggled for the last 8 years to successfully conceive my boy. Feel like I’m experiencing this all again for the first time. Xx

I love the way you are willing to tell exactly how you feel I wish that had happened in my day. Certainly don’t beat yourself up Ell I had the same thing with my firstborn and struggled with breastfeeding for six weeks, there was nothing like pumping in my day. I gave up the breast after six weeks. When I had my second baby I decided to bottle fed her and it was wonderful for both her and me. Lots of love to Noah and Ari.❤️❤️❤️

Love you guys. It’s soooo hard being a first time parent. I wanted to breast feed so much but it didn’t work for me and pumping for me was even harder because of the sleep deprivation. Fed is best! You guys are the best parents for your babies ❤️ lots and lots of love. Also I love the humour between you two x😂

Thank you for being so honest this will help so many families going through the same. My family is now complete but I can relate to Fertility issues and the c sections (had 2) I have 2 beautiful children’s although not twins. I could relate to a lot you said. I think although new babies are bliss and a gift equally there are a lot of taboo subjects that don’t get talked about enough…like feeling left out, breast feeding etc so Well done you two. By the way the boys are beautiful congratulations.

Two things, one take it from an experienced parent learn to nap during the day when the boys sleep. I didn’t with my oldest at first, the sleep deprivation will catch up to you. I think you already see it with realizing that you argue the most during the 3am feed when you are the most tired, it will only get worse. Two, Ell don’t let anyone guilt you into continuing to provide breast milk for your boys, if you feel like you need to stop. Fed is best, for any baby and so is a mother that isn’t killing herself both physically and emotionally trying to continue something that is to much for her to handle. The fact that you have given them a start with breast milk is amazing. The only advice I will give is don’t give up in a fit of frustration, if you get the feeling that you want to give up, think about it or 24 hours, because it is hard to go back once you stop, if in a few days you decide that you made a rash decision. The boys are absolutely beautiful well done you two.

Fab, what you were describing in this video is being a protective Dad. I was told that I could expose my baby to swimming & baby groups after my baby had their immunisations at 8 weeks. Ell has to wait to her 6 week check & as she had a c-section it might be longer to wait til she can go to the gym but it might be exhausting lovely. Ell, you look fantastic and the fact your body grew & nutured 2 babies at the same time is fantastic ~ plus they were 6lb babies which is brilliant, such a healthy weight! When people say they are tired I always laugh because I believe it takes you to have a baby to really know what tired & exhaustion is 😂 Guten Tag means Good Day/Hello so you said the right thing Fab. Breast Milk is like the Golden Nectar so I'm not surprised Ell was upset when Fab tipped both bottles over. Also my daughter was anxious about my grandson sleeping, so she bought the 'Owlet' smart sock which tracks their heart rate and oxygen levels. The Owlet is the best thing our family ever bought it cost £300 but saved my Grandson's life twice, so it is worth every penny as you can't put a price on a baby's life. My grandson has just turnt 2 years old & he wears the bigger Owlet strap sock now ~ I completely recommend it, 1 million %! I agree with you both about routine as kids thrive on routine. My cousins baby couldn't breath because of a clogged up nose & the paramedics on the phone said for her husband to suck the gunk out of her nose and spit it out & to keep going til their baby daughter could breathe again and the colour came back ~ he saved their baby daughters life. My grandson had a severe chest infection and ended up in hospital on oxygen, it is heartbreaking to see laboured breathing on a baby. You literally do all it takes to save them. Ell & Fab you are smashing it at being parents of twins💙💙

I had twin boys 1st and they were certainly easier than my single girl pregnancy. You've done really well. One thing I would say, if you take photos then write which one it is, as later on you might not be able too, as mine where identical and we can only tell by the clothes

Fed is best- I had one baby but could not breast feed well- tried for a month and then decided to stop; didn't realize how much I wasn't like myself until I stopped breast feeding. felt 100% better once I stopped breast feeding and let my body return to normal. Do what is best for your body and mental health- your children will benefit more from that!

I am glad you are doing you Ellen. So many women in the U.S get down right mean about breast feeding. I hope the ugly comments stay away from you, however if you do get them just try to block your heart. Your babies are beautiful.

Fab, fresh air is great for them. It helps them sleep better and longer between bottles. And they need the fresh air and the sounds of birds etc. And don't panic so much.

Oh and the best decision I ever made with my second son was to try cold formula when he was like 2 months old and he liked it and it made my nights so much easier with ready bottles in a cooler by my side. And he became the best milk drinker ever!

After my C-Sections (all 3 of them) I was sent home with Percoset and Ibuprofin. It took me 3 weeks to be able to feel better. I was so constipated because of the pain meds, bit I really needed them!! I cannot believe they didn't prescribe u ant pain medicine after you had major surgery like that!! I didn't need to take the strong pain meds longer than about about 7-8 days.

Whatever works for you works for you. I couldn’t/wouldn’t breast feed my oldest but for some reason I did for the other three and I don’t know why to this they. Just go with the flow whatever works for you

Your C-section doesn't surprise me. I had to have a total hysterectomy at 30. I was so fit and active immediately after surgery, no longer having full blown pain. That the hospital kept me in for an additional two days, no joke. I think women are tougher than men when it comes to our bodies.

Ellie said that you don't know what it is like to have one child(talking about having more children ). I can relate to that with grandchildren..., I didn't know what it was like to have one grandchild and found it really odd when my other daughter had a son - I really did miss another one😂

Are you both on maternity leave? When do you go back to work? As a grandmother of twin girls who just turned two, it gets better and better….but it will get harder….lots harder before it gets easier, lol, this is the easiest time…even though you get less sleep, babies eat, poop and sleep….this ends and babies get needier and need playtime engagement and start to eat food….the hardest part for me as a single caregiver was the logistics of getting them both from point A to point B….love watching your channel

Every mom is different and every mom is right.

I tried to talk to friends about this, the answer was, i try to hard, i should relax, every single time the same conversation. So i didn't talk to them about that anymore. its 2 years of trying and i dont know what to do, because ivf is too expansive. its like ell said i the video, really frustrating. and the doctors are not doing a single thing. just wait its too early for doing more than trying to concieve. i am sooo happpy for you guys you dont know how happy i am for you and you have twins, that is something i would really like to experience.

My mum said having my brother after having my twin and me was a walk in the park even though we were 5yrs old and a handful!

Congratulations You have two beautiful baby boys twins are amazing!! My Granddaughter gave birth to twins in April Boy/Girl & they are such blessings to us. If I could give you any advice it would be accept help whenever it is offered & ask if you need to.
