A dog with a taste for batteries. A stray cat with a severe ear infection. And a pair of pups with a tummy bug. These are the cases for our animal doctors in At The Vets!
Cookie the Beagle has bitten off more than it can chew, when he sunk his teeth into some alkaline batteries. Dr Jean is worried that the battery fluids could cause unseen damage to the dog’s gut.
Meanwhile, puppies Moscato and Reisling can’t wait to play with other dogs. But first, they will have to complete their vaccinations. Before Dr Forest can give them their jabs, she must check that they have recovered from tummy troubles.
Stray cat TokTok has been brought in with a bad case of ear infection. When topical treatment is proves ineffective, Dr Chow suggests surgery to remove the cat’s ear canal. But the cost could be too much to bear for TokTok’s caregivers.
