Why can't there be more teachers like you?? Usually, I hate classes because of the teachers. It's as if they just want to teach and get it over with and don't even try to connect with their students like you do.

I just started teaching high school social studies at a small school in Florida. You are such an inspiration to me! I used the idea of the one word project in the first day as well and I have them hanging on the wall behind my desk. I adore my students so much already and am disappointed by the negative things I heard about them prior to starting. They just need to be encouraged and taught in a warm, safe environment and I’m glad I can bring that to them. I know that I don’t have the social skills to be a teacher, but my home room teacher recently said something that kinda made me want to be a teacher, even if just for a moment. So the other day, something particularly stressful for teachers happened, so he sat us down during our home room class and talked about what was going through his mind. He told us that there’s a lot of bad things and good things when it comes to teaching, but one of the best feelings ever is knowing that every single student that you ever have, will remember you in one way or another. Whether it’s barely at all, or as the teacher that changed their life. Whether it be as the fun teacher, the boring teacher, the annoying teacher, the hot teacher, or the funny teacher. Whether it be for good or bad, teachers always have a significant place in every student’s memory and journey of growth. And for him, that’s the best feeling ever.

The moment I've seen that you've uploaded is the happiest moment of my day. I have had a hard time for a few years where I don't feel like I'm myself. The small things you do each day to take care of yourself are seriously such important little moments that need to be incorporated into life. Thanks to you, I've started a grateful journal and been inspired to read and write more. I've been taking time to get to know myself again and have put forth the effort to be kind to myself and others every single day. It's a slow process, but I am starting to love myself again. im in 10th grade and i just found out that my average for the 3rd quarter is 98% and im with Highest honors. Im the first one who got this in our whole school. In my report card, i got 99 in 4 subjects, 98 in 6 subjects and 97 in one subject. Im also first honors in Chinese!! Like im literally sobbing right now. Thank u so much for inspiring me. Thank you because during those times i wanted to give up because of bullying, your videos lift me back up. Your videos push me to be better and work harder in school. I’m so glad I found your channel! you’re always so positive and you help your students a lot. when I was a kid I wanted to be a teacher but when I went to middle school everything was just horrible and hard and it made me hate school and not want to be a teacher anymore. I’m in 8th grade now and you make me want to be a teacher again because you make me realize I don’t have to be like the others, I can be nice and positive to students. I still don’t know what I want to be but I would love a video explaining how teaching is more, like if it is hard at times and stuff like that. thank you :)

English teachers are the best!! I had a teacher sophomore year and she was just the sweetest person ever like she genuinely cared for each student. I loved going to her class every day! My other teacher that I had for English 1 and and AP Lit was so understanding and had a good bond with the students. She's the reason I want to become a teacher

Can you make a video with tips on how to discipline your students , how to motivate them, ways to encourage them to work as a team and do better individually too, tips on what to say to them when they are misbehaving or disrespecting each other.. it would be really helpful I have a class of 20 boys and 12 girls and my boys play rough when they play sports and aren’t friendly with each other . I have Elementary .. though they learn everyday I try my best to encourage them to be positive . And I give them treats at the end of the week to reward those who are doing good. any other ideas? 🤗
