Life but it's Baldur's Gate 3 

This is by far the most detailed animation I've ever done. Thanks so much Larian Studios for sponsoring and letting me do whatever I want. It was only supposed to be 4 minutes long but I went overboard. Baldur's Gate 3 is out now, now that I am done working I will play it and you can too!

The most accurate part of this is rolling a 20 on the skill check that least matters.

As I sat through this I came to realize that some people's D20s never roll anything higher than a 3 yet they still get up every day and find a way to get through it. I really admire those people

The failed intimidation check resulting in a friendly outcome was a really good idea

I think it's really cool how big companies seem to be realizing that they can get 3 million positive impressions on their game with about 5x the quality and 1/20th the price of a normal advertising budget by just sponsoring creative people. Really great video!

Imagine if he rolled a 20 after the 1 roll and he just blinks out of reality leaving the boss just terribly confused.

I think my favorite part is that leave is almost always an option and, just like the game, the one time he does it it's almost entirely the most awkward option.

I like that there are choices that are CLEARLY the common sense dialogue option, but then he chooses one that requires skill, rolls and fails 😂

the fact he finally passed a roll when it barely mattered is exactly how the game feels lmao, well done

I can't stop coming back to watch this video. I went and bought Baldur's Gate 3 because of it. It gets funnier every time.

I loved Joel's monotone expression throughout the whole film. He's just accepted this as his reality and knows he can't do anything about it.

As a long time d&d player /forever Dm I was so intrigued by this game . After finally getting it this week and since I haven’t been able to play in a campaign in years (stuck as being DM) I decided to bring back Arkrias , a tiefling bard who I created and unfortunately died early in his campaign (session 2 😢) . After spending hours In character creation to bring Arkrias to virtual life .. he managed to nat 1 that wisdom save against the almost dead mind flayer in the emerald cove .. thus instantly dying . 10/10 game . Most d&d experience I’ve gotten in a video game

I like how the boss regretted hiring him solely for the fact that he can’t hide well

You know how when something is funny but you're alone, you don't react to it nearly as much as when you're with other people? I'm watching this alone so I was sitting here, silently but increasingly amused by the whole thing. The stealth rolls completely cracked me and I cried laughing.

I think the main character in this animation represents a lot of us. Many a days it seems like everything is going wrong and nothing will pan out but then you do that one thing right and you feel like you're on top of the world.
