I realized recently in my own life that although I prayed diligently for others, I wasn’t praying over myself. So I decided one of my goals for the year was to implement a prayer journals with prompts (which has one for everyday of the year. Although I still don’t have a set time to do this as I’m transitioning to a job with a better routine, it has been so cool to be reminded that God also hears our personal prayers for ourselves (which like, I talk to God a lot, but there wasn’t really a personal time to ask for things in my personal life that I realized that I wasn’t.) It helps to change your heart posture as well.
Love you guys so much! Keep doing what you're doing in your ministry, its so encouraging seeing believers who are *actually* strong in their faith and care about the things of God. I love that you guys are so transparent and honest. If no one else, your videos definitely motivate me in my walk with the Lord. You guys have helped me feel like my convictions (for example, the standards I have for a Godly man, and the standards I have for myself as a Godly woman) are actually reasonable and attainable. I just can't thank you guys enough! Love this :) At 11:30 you listed a few things that we could spend time training ourselves in as believers. Apologetics, Evangelism, etc Just wondering if you could expand the list, or perhaps make a whole video on it. Hope the question makes sense :)
I don’t think there is necessarily a right way to spend time with God You first have to make yourself available, let go of all distractions (ex phones and thoughts) and let the Holy Spirit take over. We can pray for the Holy Spirit to lead us as we fellowship with Christ. And you can speak on whatever is on your heart to God If you can, praying in tongues also helps ❤️
I love to do new years goals!!! On the top I always like to title has My Goals with God or God Wills Goals. I like to begin prayer and then write my goals. And then end with a prayer. And then keep prayer and see if that’s were gods Leading me.
I need to get off my phone. 🤣It def takes up most of my time. And when something gets in the way of my relationship with God, or it is the first thing I look at in the morning, it has def become an idol. Btw guys! You have to watch Jack Hibbs new sermon called “What not to do in 2024.” It’s so good and it’s changed my perspective to better my life for the new year! I think you guys will get allot out of it.
I need to be better about witnessing. I also need to stop being busy with "good works" that are in the place of what I know God wants me to do like witnessing. I just end up doing what's most comfortable instead 🥴
