@@Erin_in_AustinI would definitely use a smooth one. The rough one would damage the fabric unless it’s a thick pile. Then I would be really gentle using a rough one.
Pink stuff works decently. But the scrub mommy paste tho?!?! It seriously the best!!! Got it from target for like $17. It gets up pretty much everything! Even the grout that was on my floor from before I moved in! 😭🙌🏽✨
I've never used the Pink Stuff (or Pink Paste?). May I ask, does she use water to rinse the shower glass, or does she just wipe the paste away with a rag? Also, any suggestions where I can purchase the Pink Stuff? Ahead of time, thank you for your suggestions. I really appreciate it! 😊
John 8:12 King James Version 12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
Fill spray bottle almost completely with vinegar, add about 1/4 cup of Dawn dish liquid. Shake lightly and spray entire shower and glass. Allow to set a few minutes. Rinse with water. Cleans thoroughly and removes all soap scum with no scrubbing necessary. Dries spotless. Leaves glass squeaky clean.
@@almag6524 I guarantee that anything it didn't get the first time, if you wait until the area is completely dry and apply it again it will take care of it completely. After that if you do it every time you clean you'll never again have any build-up.
Maybe it worth it if you're sending a bunch of them since they weigh next to nothing, but the thought of saving a bunch of dirty sponges still makes it not worth it
I can't use bleach products .. But, I have to soon, I'm hoping I can avoid it at all costs 😭I have a steamer and, I use Dawn power wash , and white vinegar if I have to.. I do like the wipes though ...or used to..
Holy moly, I need to do some deep cleaning!!! I'm sitting here enjoying the falling snow in Michigan. Now, where's my motivation, I know it's here somewhere?! Hahaha.
Whaaaaaaaattttttttt? I had no idea they had a base board daddy! My ocd is literally jumping with joy right now- I think you single handily just made my year girl!
@@brandyyolidio4213easiest way to dust baseboards and not having to bend over using this is a vacuum brush attachment. If they need to be wiped, spray with soapy warm water and wring a sponge mop and glide across the baseboard.
We have copper pipes and well water. I get a constant blue stain in my tub. Nothing removes it but a scrub daddy and the pink stuff. Oh and soap scum too!
One thing that I’ve found that helps with calcium buildup and stuff from well and hard water is denture cleaner. I’ll toss one of the little fizzy tablets in my toilet bowl before scrubbing it and it makes a huge difference!
We have well water as well. We get some kind of orange stains in our tubs and toilet, I'm not sure if it's iron build up or something else 🤷 Iron Off is the only thing I've found that gets it all clean like it was never there.
I'm on water catchment and our tub walls were blue when we moved in. Our inspector told us we had copper pipes and to add baking soda to our catchment tank to neutralize whatever was causing this reaction. I don't fully remember his explanation, but I've been adding baking soda to my tank monthly and haven't had blue walls in 7 years
I saw the Scrub Daddy on, Shark Tank years ago. I bought one of those sponge holders. Stuck it on the wall. Next time I went into the kitchen it was in the sink. After the 3rd time, I threw it in the trash 😕
I'm telling ya...dawn soap, vinegar, and baking soda...all you need. For certain important jobs....hydrogen peroxide or rubbing alcohol but, all natural is soooo much better!!
Using a normal one as a SOAP BAR HOLDER for the bathroom works really well, the soap water never gets close to the bottom and water doesn’t accumulate at the top like it does when you use a soap holder.
My grandmother always had me spray a mixture of vinegar and water and it's literally THE BEST window cleaner with newspaper. No streaks, ever. I've never cleaned windows/mirrors any other way!
There are limitations to the coupon program. Example, $10 min purchase required to use $2 off coupon. It is only for their online store. And there are shipping fees when you buy from that store. Looks like a good way to recycle though!
I love my damp duster - you can rub it on furniture to pull pet hair from the fabric. Not just wipe it off. It literally seems to pull out the fur that seems like it’s imbedding into the couch 😂
I live in rural Australia and none of our supermarkets sell sponge mums or dads. I was lucky enough to find a sponge daddy about 6mths ago. I LOVED it to death. I used it daily in my kitchen up until a week ago, I popped it into dishwasher at the end of each day to keep it clean. Its now moved to bathroom duties but he won't last much longer. HELP were can I get a new one. I've searched supermarkets for months to get a couple of new one. They are seriously the best sponges I've ever used in my 60yrs on earth. ✌💕😊
I sqigee my shower after every time just before I get out to dry. It takes just about 2 minutes but takes off 98% of the water and keeps the glass and tile sparkling clean. Even my grout stays clean. My mom taught me this.
Can you imagine how much money scrub daddy WOULDN'T have made without tiktok and youtube shorts? It's a great product, but I would have never bought it on my own accord
@@texasstardust6010 yeah I thought Bar Keeper’s friend would be good on the cheap ones from my rental stove and… let’s say I definitely need to replace them now 😆 I have been told that the ceramic version you can get instead of the metal ones are much easier to clean and hold up better. Will be testing out that theory soon. I would say anything that can be used, soaking only, like vinegar, dish soap, ammonia, etc and definitely nothing remotely abrasive if you’re not looking to replace them!
@@texasstardust6010 bar keepers friend works incredibly well for glass tops and inside the oven messes, especially the dreaded window on the door. Just get it all out really well and go back over with just water. It literally only sits for one minute and then you wipe/scrub just a tad. Works incredibly for pots and pans that get the baked on stuff and for ceramic coated pans that like to get discolored inside.
You probably won’t believe this but yesterday I was thinking I should clean my baseboards & there must be a hack out there that would make it easier. And here you are. 😂😂😂😂 thanks!!!
@@ambermoon1401 We take one day out of the week to clean the entire house. It all gets done, dust, vacuum, wet. Top to bottom. It takes the entire day (well 8H) but then you're done with it for the rest of the week.
@@LaLadybug2011 My mom worked full-time, she did this after hours, for over 40 years, and before going to work, effectively splitting it up. It just had to get done if you wanted a clean house. It's wherever your priorities are.
