He got caught with growth hormones after the giro. Before he already got suspended for using some sleep medication that was banned team internal. But his whole career and character have been suspicious from the start. Guess he had it comming sooner or later.
I think it’s often just a matter of trying to keep up with the rest. Drugs are rife in pro cycling and in fact at every level of cycling. Even amateurs are using PEDs.
Some people have suggested that as he was new and young, he had a some extra apprentice jobs to carry out for the team ? But he got caught so yes Peer Pressure
What do you expect from the teams? He wasn't a terribly important rider to the team and was very likely just trying to make side money on top of his own. I can't imagine and EF teammates trusting him as their PED supplier
@@veganpotterthevegan The medication was likely for himself. The teams put so much pressure on riders so it’s not surprising that PEDs are used. The question is who encouraged their use.
@@paddymurphy-oconnor8255doesn’t have to be anyone encouraging him. Who even cares, we are talking about grown adults riding bikes. It’s mind blowing people even waste their brain capacity even worrying about it.
@@paddymurphy-oconnor8255 What you mean with "so much pressure"? Its competitive sport. Of course there is pressure to perform. Otherwise you and me would be pro cyclist, no? The kid is just an absolut idiot. Thats it. Hope we will not have to see him in any more pro races ever.
