For the first half of Asa’s reign all seemed to be going well. The Lord had worked miracles in front of his eyes, the young king was fervently seeking the Lord, and fervently calling his people to seek the Lord. But then something shifted midway through his reign. Something has shifted in his head and in his heart and he convinced himself he no longer needed to be broken. After all brokenness is something that weak people do, right? Brokenness isn't needed all the time, right? If we're broken then how could we possibly lead our people, how could Asa lead his nation, especially when it faced crises?
Join us this weekend as we continue in our series in Second Chronicles. A series that calls us to look and RETURN to the things that God blesses. And this weekend we'll learn again that the Lord absolutely blesses brokenness. We'll learn that rather than being a sign of weakness, brokenness is actually the key to strength.
Hope to see you there!
