Life in an Irish Country Cottage ~ Morning Work! 

It occurs to me that you are a happy person. Not because you have fewer worries and problems than other people, but because you have chosen to be happy. Which is a rare kind of courage. Very inspiring.

Watching many of these in no particular order. They make me happy when my mental health is low. They also give me a temporary fix for the Irish countryside. I’ve always felt a strong call for Ireland. One day I want to travel there and plant my feet in the ground. And just breathe in the air with a smile. Answer that beckoning call that feels like a song I’ve never heard before, yet I know by heart.💜

Dolly Daydream in Manchester told me about you. This is lovely. I live in a bedsit but think of it as my cottage. :) I love your kitchen.

Here in New England the leaves are down, except for a stubborn few that continue clinging to near bare branches. One forsythia in my yard has turned an amazing russet-red. There are so many things that I am now noticing, Colette, after watching your videos--the way the mallards circle in the air before finally splashing down on the pond, the miniature landscapes of mosses and lichens growing on trees and stones, the incredible array of color among the grasses. Mother Earth is indeed incredible. And oh what a gift it is to simply admire her in all her forms. Thank you for prompting me to be more aware. P.S. So glad Jack continues to improve.

Oh give me the sanctity of Bealtaine Cottage, they've all gone nuts out there. Commercial after commercial, everyone's versions of Christmas Carols. I'm at my sanctuary which is helpful but I need to see calm as well as feel it. Mid Summer tomorrow so need to plant more veges for Winter, ah the calm is coming. Thank you for being there. =-)

Hi Colette, I just discovered you on RU-vid today and so glad I did. I must say we have very similar beliefs and the exact same outlook on this planet we are killing so fast. I listened and watched your videos all day while sewing gifts. I used to be an avid gardener but have reduced drastically my gardens because of the constant battle with dry summers and the beautiful deer I share my land with (I live in North Carolina, USA). But after watching videos of your beautiful gardens it makes me want to start all over again! I just need to figure out a way to find more hours in the day. I'm 70 and still one of those people having to work M-F. :( Your videos are very calming and inspirational. I love how connected you are to Jack. My life revolves around my animals - a hazard of being involved in rescue for 20+ years!

Lovely morning walk! I have allowed self seeded trees in my yard. I have a very small yard it have trees and shrubs for birds and all other creatures. I love the way Jack follows you. It's okay that you are unable to respond Mother earth goes through rough times. 3 acres of paradise and eden. Wonderful! Have a wonderful day.
