LIFE IN CANADA vs. LIFE IN THE PHILIPPINES (MY TRUE THOUGHTS) | Vlog  

I’ve been living in Canada for almost 7 years (came here at 2013), at first i don’t really like it because i was homesick and i was homesick until around 2017, yun ung time na realize ko na gumanda talaga buhay ko. I’m really thankful sa mga parents ko na dinala ako sa magandang bansa. Hoping na masusuklian ko sila pag nakatapos na ako ng pag aaral. So be thankful if you guys are living in a 1st world country such as Canada, US, New Zealand, Australia, etc.

I love it when youtubers post videos that shows a different side of them. It makes the connection between you and us closer. Thank you!

Honestly, I really admire you on how you are filled with wisdom and creativity, it's like you really know well how to answer the calling that God has for you. You mentioned that you don't know yet everything how to really plan what you want in the future but, everything that happens is also God's way telling you that you can just trust in him while listening to His voice in your heart. When of course, He places in our hearts His will for us most especially when we pray more to be able to discern. I do, really learn so much from you. I love the fact that you are very free spirited and spontaneous, it will be really a high need for who ever you will marry to keep up to your level of energy. You are like a flame, that emits so much, you make us Mabuhay squad and Antscanada followers feel that joy that you exude. You are very industrious and persevering. It is true and you have proved that, when you persevere, you will not lack anything. You are having the abundance because you really work and God loves a diligent person. I find you very childlike and God mentions in the Bible that those who are childlike who has a pure heart, will see God, inherit His kingdom. And you are actually sharing your life to us, like as how you share heaven on Earth to us. About your thoughts on having children, be prayerful about it, you have a great character. I'm sure you will be a very wonderful Father. It has always been astounding every time just to realize how great you and RJ can manage your duties. You two has strong qualities to make good dads someday. Just pray for it, when it is God's will it will happen. Very inspirational Mikey. Being an American in Detroit area at 39 I have to say your advice of life is great. I feel I’m still growing and learning every day and my Filipina wife wants to move back to Philippines when we get older and it would be good to do both kinda like you.

This was a 3am vlog from the heart Mikey ... and I agree with you on a lot of things. Inside my head I feel like I am around 28 although my body protests that I am not (I am more than double that) lol I was born in Scotland, lived most of my life in Australia, I have visited cousins in Toronto and Vancouver, but what I have found is that my heart is in the Philippines. I still love Scotland and Australia, and loved Canada, but my future is in the Philippines and I trust that the future will be good for us all.

.....simple real talk is one of the nicest thing to hear cause it comes from the heart...

Your heart is in the Philippines because of your love and passion for your craft and the inherit love for the country where your parents are born. Your heart is also in Canada because here is where your family is - where you grew up and became the awesome person you are now. It was already 5 years ago since I watched your vlog about tagalog, and Im so overwhelmed that I saw this video? very inspiring! Oh wait, did I mentioned I just saw your video last week at Sm supermarket (Taytay) so cute! Love your humor talaga. God bless!

I do the exact same thing when I am visiting the Philippines. Due to jet lag, I would always wake up at 2am or 3am, and then I would jog by 4am along the paved rural road between the town of Macabebe and Masantol. Good thing that some townfolks are also waking up pretty early in the morning so they can jog along this rural road while the temperature is still relatively cool. I believe Mikey’s dad is originally from Macabebe. A second cousin of mine here in the San Francisco Bay Area is also a Bustos, his dad is also from Macabebe. Their clan owned both gas stations in Macabebe and Masantol in the 1960’s up to the 1970’s and perhaps beyond. Small world, Mikey?
