I am so stressed out here in California taking care of my aging parents. Your video reminds me of my roots- what is it like to be a true Filipino, in which family is always #1 before anything else.
I love the cinematography. You’re very talented. I love the good balance of narrating…you don’t talk too much or over-dramatize. You give the scenes a chance to tell their own story and you know just when to narrate to reinforce their message. Wow what a comeback. I wasn’t a subscriber then but I am now.
This one came a little bit late, Dan. But it didn't disappoint. Rewatching your holiday videos in the beginning of the year had become my own tradition. It is so full warmth and love. It makes life worth living. Thank you, really.

I think I can see through you, Dan. I know you haven't really gotten over the loss of your mom, or maybe the difficult time she experienced before her demise. You seem restless and although not lonely, you feel the pain still. Saw that vlog when you went back to Ireland and paid her a tribute But she lives in you, man...always. so make it count. I lost my husband (this is his acct btw) and the pain will never go away, but I like to think he is just beside me, watching and guiding me. Listen to your mom's voice ..be happy coz she'd want that.
