Fugan Canal Kansui Park
There are all kinds of ways to enjoy yourself at this waterside park with abundant greenery
The vast, open landscape will leave you feeling refreshed! A waterside park surrounding a canal just a 9-minute walk from the North Gate of JR Toyama Station. The vast lawns of the park create a pleasing space for people of all ages, from children to the elderly. In addition to a square with a spring and waterfall, a playground and Tenmon-kyo Bridge, the symbol of the park, you can enjoy a cruise along the canal. You can also stop for refreshments at the most beautiful Starbucks coffee shop in the world, and enjoy a meal at La Chance, a French restaurant. Events such as fireworks displays are held here throughout the year, and the park is lit up at night, creating a magical atmosphere.

The Toyama Glass Art Museum (富山市ガラス美術館, Toyama Glass Bijutsukan) in Toyama City showcases a large collection of glass art from around the world. The beautifully modern Kirari building that houses the museum was designed by world-renowned architect Kuma Kengo and also contains the city's public library.
The museum offers both permanent and temporary exhibitions. The permanent exhibitions are on the fourth and sixth floors whilst the temporary exhibitions are interspersed across multiple galleries on other floors. The permanent exhibition on the fourth floor showcases contemporary glass art by international artists procured by the museum over past decades, while the sixth floor hosts the "Glass Art Garden" exhibition, which boasts a collection of installations by Dale Chihuly.
