Omg girl i cant believe i found this video. Im in my first year of university and i want to do Erasmus next year and rome is my dream destination. My university has a deal with la sapienza and i would love to study there! And then just frim nothing this video appears omg😭😭😩😩
Hey, i know it been a year since you recorded this. But i am thinking about doing Erasmus there and i was wandering if they offer scholarship or something like that to exchange studenta
Heyy :) what kind of scholarship do you mean exaclty? I’m not sure about that honestly because I know that they offer a scholarship for students who study full time there but I’m not sure about exchange students
Hi Miriam, thanks for the video! Really helpful. I actually wanted to ask what are the neighborhoods I need to check for rentals- I will be in the same faculty as you (Philosophy and Literature) so it's the main campus :) Thanks in advance!
hey thank you so much :)) 🤍so the neighborhoods I recommend are San Giovanni, San Lorenzo (it’s not really pretty but a great student area) or the historical center (but it is kind of hard to find something good where. In general anywhere close to the main Campus (which is in between Termini and San Lorenzo) is optimal. Sapienza has a lot of buildings around the city but for my course the only buildings are in this area :) otherwise anywhere close to the metro because you can’t really rely on the busses. Good luck!!
Hi Miriam, did you have to take the SAT exam before you applied or after? Also, did you have to complete the preregistration since you are an EU student? Thanks! :)
Hey :) i never took the SAT hahah I took the TOLC test after I applied and after the semester started already in October :) and what exactly do you mean by preregistration? 💫
There is a preregistration for La Sapienza up on the website where you have to enter your SAT/TOLC results, letter of motivation and your school results I believe. However it does say that it is optional for EU students. Also from your memory when applying before, what documents did you need apart from your reference if you haden't taken the TOLC at that point? Thank you so much! :) @@miriamrosee
Not really :( from what I know only for people who get a certain scholarship. I have a video about finding an accommodation in Rome with all my tipps though!
Hey Miriam, thank you for your video. please answer my question. i want to know more about the exam rules in your university. like what if someone didnt pass in all the 3 dates of the exam what will happen, will he repeat the year? or carry this subject with him the next year? please answer my question. Thank you
So - the answer I have gotten is that you can - as long as you don’t accept the grade- always change the course or do the exam again. I am not 100% sure if this is true but what I do know for sure is that you can change the course if you don’t accept your grade, even if you take the exam several times :) hope this helped!
@@miriamrosee actually i don't know what i will choose english or italian but i'm asking you is it hard to study in one of the best university in Rome especially when you are from different country. Wasn't it difficult at some point with the material and its difficulty?
For me personally, I would say it isn’t necessarily hard or perhaps harder than other universities that I was thinking about going to, but it obviously depends on the level of work you want to put in :)
Also, the people in my course have been really helpful and the environment is very kind and supportive, so if you struggle with something you can always ask in the group chat of somebody can explain it✨
How is the percentage rate of getting chanced in Master's from Economics background. My Cgpa 3.6 out of 4. And ielts band 6. Can i get acceptance in Economics? Please reply❤️🔥
Hey! So I don't think that there is any data about that specific course but on this Website edurank.org/uni/sapienza-university-of-rome/ I saw that the acceptance rate in general is 39% I think that you have pretty good chances with such a high GPA though - and for the IELTS that should definitely be sufficient since I believe you only need to have a B2 level! :) Good luck!
@@miriamrosee Thanks to your quick response dear❤️. I want to know that how many percentage in 4 years honours a student to get admission in masters in economics Department in Saphienza? I know that the italian cgpa grading system is Out of 110. My cgpa is 3.6 /4 in Banglades which is around 70% . So if i convert my cgpa in Italian grade then, how many percentage do i have carry? And if It's pretty enough for admission in Saphienza. You know It's very renowned University in Italy as well as Europe. Please reply🤗
Hey, I am not sure but you should be able to see it in this document :) www.uniroma1.it/sites/default/files/field_file_allegati/programmesinenglish_web.pdf
Hi Miriam, just wanted to say that your video is sooo helpful. Actually, studying in Rome is one of my biggest dreams and now I feel much more aware of how it all looks like. I'd also like to ask you 2 questions. Firstly, what English or Italian (I'm not sure yet in which one I'd like to study) level is required at La Sapienza? And secondly, can you drop a link to your Insta somewhere? (I don't know why, but I can't find your account) Thanks in advance! Lena
Hey Lena :)) im so happy my video was helpful for you 🤍🤍 thank you so much! So I think it should usually be a B2 level. For my course I had to do the Toefl test and get at least a B2 level :) and also about my insta, I actually had my username changed for the last days but I changed it back now hahahah so you should be able to find it :) have a great day!! 🤍
hi, i want to study computer science there. i got 1400 on sat with 790 math. is it enough to get accepted? do I need to take the tolc exam? also what is your or average monthly expense?
I think if you did the SAT it’s already enough, I am not sure whether there’s a minimum score but I don’t think so. Since you don’t necessarily have to pass the tolc when you take it I think that however much you get on your sat should be fine but make sure to check the website :))
@@miriamrosee In website it says minimum 960pts but idk what the actual minimum pts and i dont want to risk it. Also, thank you 😊 I'll be waiting for your videos
The medicine building is at the main campus :) There might be other buildings that you will have to go to though but my main building is also at the main campus and most of my lectures are held there!!@@xenne.
I study Global Humanities and unfortunately I don't know anything about this specific course nor do I know anyone who studies that at Sapienza but good luck!
Hey sorry I don’t know why but my response didn’t upload- anyways :) there are a couple of universities that offer English courses in Rome. There’s the American University of Rome which is John Cabot, but also LUMSA and LUISS for sure offer courses in English. However, also at Sapienza (my university) they offer courses in English :) good luck
Hi! First of all, I have to say I enjoyed watching your video and thank you for all the information🫶🏻Do you know if we can study Fashion Studies for Masters degree with Bachelor of Global Humanities? Thanks again!
Hey :) thanks so much it means a lot🤍 so cool that you want to study fashion - what a dream! I am pretty sure it should be possible but global humanities unfortunately does not have that much to do with fashion haha so I’m pretty sure you have to take another admission test for fashion studies after you finish the bachelor. When I started the program, our professor explained it this way: In Italy, it matters a lot that you collect a certain number of credits in the field that you want to study in your masters in your bachelor already! So for instance, if you want to study fashion that means you have to attend as many classes as possible that fall under the umbrella of fashion (or are at least in the same faculty etc.) to be accepted for a master in fashion. OR you can sit for an extra admission exam after the bachelor. I hope this makes sense :) that’s at least the information I got.
Hlo Miriam, I am from Nepal and i wanted to know how is the university of rome tor vergata? What is the acceptance rate for bachelor? How difficult it is to find accommodation in rome?
Hey, honestly I don’t know anything about that university :( I don’t know anyone who’s going there but I assume that the acceptance rate is not terribly low. About housing: it’s very difficult 😅 but not impossible!! Check out Roomless and calculate about 500€
It definitely depends on what you want to study. Obviously you will need a higher average for medicine or law but in my case, there was no minimum requirements if I remember correctly - at least not in the website. It also depends on your motivational letter and references and not only on your average :)
I tried to find a job last year during my gap year as well here in Rome when I didn't speak Italian yet and I have to say it is kind of difficult... also there is no minimum wage here in Italy so they usually pay you very very little :/
Hey! There's John Cabot University as well which is the American University in Rome - also I am pretty sure Luiss and Lumsa University also offers English courses - they are both private universities if I am not mistaken though. However, you can of course study at any university even if you're not Italian :)
