Hello everybody we've been asked to continue through our historical walk through the different places we've lived and what life was like in them. Today we cover life in Ohio circa 1958, 59, 60, 61. Susan is not on this episode as she was born in Ohio and we left when she was three so there's no memories.... if she does have any we'll talk with her about that next week. Enjoy the episode we're out on "The Happy Together" tour so we'll be talking about that soon.

Wonderful childhood memories. Whether they were good times or bad, we all enjoy reminiscing about our youthful adventures. They shaped us. Thanks for the awesome stories.

Love all the stories! Our parents both smoked like chimneys, even in the car in winter! We all hated it, and yet we all took it up (and we did eventually all quit). It was the era (my oldest sibling was born in 1949, and I am the youngest, born in 57). You are my favorite podcast!

I really enjoy your podcast and especially these episodes reminiscing of your younger days. It was so great back in the day when we all played outside all day and built forts and such. Loved hearing about your raft adventures and how close you two were growing up.

Oh, man! The memories this episode are bringing up of our childhood. ASHTRAYS, parents that smoked. Even remember rolling cigarettes for my parents. Oh my God. 😜🤔 In those days that was no big deal. Always enjoy your reminiscing. Carry-on! Great to hear from you on the road. 😎

Do kids even build forts anymore?? Probably not. I miss the days when kids had to use their imaginations and entertain themselves-Before there were “Helicopter Parents.” Can you imagine a 2024 mother letting her boys build rafts? 😂
