"Kindly just embrace my culture; it's our way of life!" THANK YOU! Why do people from different cultures try to tell other people how to live? They might say they mean well, but why " travel" if not to learn and accept? Love seeing how YOU live.
Awww, so sorry you burned yourself. If you have aloe vera plant on your property, apply it to the burn immediately for relief and quick healing. I've had very good results when I apply the gel to my burns and I healed without scars.
Praise God, Jael, I just love your beautiful backyard. God's beautiful creations shine in your home. Seeing you do chores reminds many of us our upbringing. Follow your heart and showcase for us whatever your spirit whispers. Also, farm chores as a workout.
Wow, what a beautiful place, with the trees blossoming, the vegetable garden, the cows and chicken. The fish curry looks so delicious together with the kale. Enjoy your lunch/dinner.
👏🏾Therapeutical.. I always remember my grandmother too. Yes, culture should be embraced. I embrace my culture. I love my culture. I am proud of it. Enjoy the yummy. How l miss. No words.
❤WE CALL THOSE VEGETABLES COLLARD GREENS, WE COOK THEM WITH TURKEY PARTS,HAM HOCK OR SMOKE 🥓 BACON ,!! WE EAT THEM WITH CORN BREAD,ONIONS, AND SLICE TOMATOES!!! AND HOT GREEN PEPPERS 😊 MUCH LOVE FROM ,ATLANTA GA❤
Those are Collards for Americans. Kale is darker and curly sometimes called Lacinto in USA but in Italy where I live there aren't collards 😢 but there is kale (cavolo nero)
Queen, I saw your interview with Lynn. I'm in Arusha Tanzania. I truly want to visit you and purchase land. I left United Snakes of 🇺🇸 retired and need guidance on agriculture investments, etc.😊 Thanks for being DOPE Delivering Only Positive Energy!
Your voice is pure therapy. The scenery is beautiful. Good job I'm addicted to your videos i find myself looking forward to the next one every day. Very inspiring content. Congratulations ❤
Jambo Jael🥰. Asante sana for another wonderful and serene vlog. I was wondering about your parents, thank you for sharing about them. Sukuma Wiki is what we call Collard greens here in the US. But there are several variety of them. We don’t always cut them as fine as you and Corn Bread is usually the stable bread while you have Ugali. Funny but I grew up watching my mother always eating her greens and cornbread with her fingers, So many ways in our culture come from the Motherland. FYI, I tried freezing the avocados and did not like the results. The texture was too soft after defrosting. If you should try that hack, let me know how it worked for you! Hope you have a great night. Mungu akubariki 💜🥰🙏🏾🫶🏾🙋🏾♀️
Miam miam it looks so tasty...bon appetit (in French). Pay no attention to those who are complaining about your posture as far it does not give you back pain who cares. And like you said it's part of your culture and we should all respect this. Stay blessed 😊🎉
Hello Jael - thank you for your channel - it is a joy to watch - it relieves my stress so keep the content coming. I live in Canada and I get quite homesick especially during the cold winters so your channel connects me to my Kenyan roots. As a result I am exploring coming back home and building a home for my in-laws so any advice from you will be helpful as I don’t have ancestral land so have to buy it. My fear of being conned is holding me back. What do you suggest?
Lots of hugs and thank you for your sweet comment. Buying property in Kenya has become very tricky but there are still some genuine people out here. Never be in a hurry to buy land. Check and confirm ever detail of the land before making any payment.
This one is a very positive lady and her calmness is at another level. I keep coming back for some more. Jael you are a gem. And congratulations for the 20K plus Mark. It was log overdue.
Hello Jael. Enjoyed the video alot as usual. So calming. Thank you ❤. Regarding the bending issue, bending is definitely a cultural thing in our case but it goes even beyond culture. Over the years, l have learned that the human body must bend backwards, forward, sideways and squat down everyday to keep connective tissue healthy and stay limber. Even in classical hatha yoga this is taught. Otherwise it gets stiff and later in life, we get all sorts of flexibility and mobility issues. l also grew up doing bending chores as well and even today in my 50s, l can easily bend in any direction, squat, move quickly up and down stairs etc and l have no joint issues. Especially if we sit on chairs all day, its very important to simply move our bodies in these four ways. So keep it up my dear it's done a lot of good for us that we may not even realize until you see people having trouble doing something as natural as bending down to pick something up or fix their shoes, or even sitting and getting up from the ground. We either use it or lose. ❤
Jael of the village, I have become addicted to your story of life in the village, but who are you? Where is your profile? Have you ever worked in the city? Did you just retire from some job somewhere? If you were born and raised in the village, how come you don't know how to milk the cow?
So the vegetable is called Collard Greens in America. They are my favorite and I've always wanted to grow them. I would imagine Fresh from the garden are really delicious 😊😊
It's always refreshing watching your vlogs, beautiful peaceful garden. The fish looks so yummy.❤❤❤Congratulations on more than 20K subscribers Your content is always great.
