What is the Life in the UK Test?
You must take the test if you want to apply for British citizenship or settled status with 'indefinite leave to remain' (permanent residency). The test consists of 24 multiple choice questions about British daily life, customs and history. You must get at least 75% to pass the test and have a maximum time limit of 45 minutes. There are around 35 test centres in the UK and each sitting of the test costs £50.
