You can score the blues for $1 now these days. The market is so flooded. From $25-$30 it dropped to that low. Kinda gives you an idea of how much is on the streets these days. Wild shit. Dig the video my man.

That corner store on Louisiana that you called a circle k is actually Sais and is currently in construction to reopen soon. It was burned down after being there for more than 20 years. You can see the new framing in this video behind the front thats boarded up. I've been doing updates on my channel TheGlassmansWorld and there is now a roof on it and front windows instead of being boarded up. Ill do another update later today!

Thanks for the tour of my neighborhood. The solid waste workers and the po lice have been shuffling the unsheltered mostly early mornings Mon-Wed. I imagine you toured the War Zone right before the Pride parade is why you didn't see a good portion of our unsheltered people. I notice alot of those fences that businesses have put up leave little room for our wheelchair residents on the sidewalks? It's also embarrassing that the sidewalks aren't really handicapped and disabled, accessible in 2024? Especially since this is where lower income people live.

A zombie is made when a boker generates or fakes a regular temporary brain death against the boker's target. After the brain death is induced the boker performs a rite of revival. Zombies are usually sent out into the fields at night, where they function as slaves for their masters. Onile Ogun.

Nobody is twisting these peoples arm and forcing them to take drugs. If they're adults and they chose to take drugs, it's their choice to live that way. However, I did notice that there was one police SUV patrolling the area during your bike ride. Why don't they build a police station where the Fair and Square supermarket used to be? If they really wanted to get rid of the problems (homeless and drugs) there they would do it.

What about adults with disabilities. People who grew up abused and mentally unstable to take care of themselves. Not all these people had medical care to fix these issues. While I agree with your statement, yeah some mfs should be able to chose their path, some give up and this is the result.

Hare Krsna. There is a Hindu temple on Zuni where he was talking about the Griff's Burger place he misses so much. And there is a beautiful Buddhist temple right there across the street from the mural where he ends this video. It's not the best place here in Albuquerque but there are still some beautiful places here within the War Zone. The Asian market is the Talin Market and there are several restaurants there that are open including the one he says was closed. The market is fenced off so vagrants to walk through as freely anymore and shoppers can come through the parking lot by car. But it's a hassle for those of us who walk, take the bus, or ride a bike. We can't walk through the parking lot anymore as a short cut and now have to walk all the way around the market building. Not a big deal but there has been changes lately to local business and security attempts.

I moved to Albuquerque in 2016 why do they call it "International District"? I understand "the war zone" but international 🤔 I don't get it. I was waiting for a bus there once & was asked what kind of drugs I preferred 😮 I don't think I looked like I did drugs I was a 58 yr old lady wearing new blue jeans & a tee shirt with sandles (expensive sandles) my hair was clean & brushed had make-up on like an older lady would. Felt weird!! I haven't done drugs since 1982.

If you are an addict and live for drugs each day and you only have one life and that’s how you want to Live it before you die then that’s your choice but go where the rest of us. Don’t have to look at it. Or clean yourself up and live life like a human being and make a change ! Change is hard but life is just as hard for all of us that are sober and live life on life’s terms , we get up everyday sober and still in the same world they are ! We don’t walk around poor me with our hand our hoping someone will feel sorry for us because we choose to do drugs and this right here is the out come ! What did you think was going to happen when you chose that life ?

If you are on a bike or scooter 🛴🛵, you and riding on the side Walk, you are supposed to yield to the pedestrians on the side Walk, if I was walking on side Walk, I would not move for anyone on a bike or scooter 🛴🛵, he will wait me, it's a side Walk, you don't want car's the to hit you, so stay off the side Walk so you won't hit them walking on the sidewalk, side Walk only for walking, unless you are in a wheelchair, but I understand people on bikes or scooters, but you have to stop and let the pedestrians walking on the sidewalk, people walking on the sidewalk have the right away people on bikes must stop and let them pass or go around on the street and get back on the sidewalk but nobody walking on the sidewalk you have to pause for anybody on the bike or a motor scooter unless it's a wheelchair
@UhhhImTrashSorry
@UhhhImTrashSorry 7 дней назад
In ABQ, yes, you’re supposed to yield the right of way to pedestrians. That said, you allowed to overtake on the left hand side, but you have to audibly let people know that’s what you’re doing, which Buggs did.
@user-zj4ku3wx1o
@user-zj4ku3wx1o 7 дней назад
@@UhhhImTrashSorry bikes belong on the streets or bike lines, I understand why people on bikes are using the side Walks , because of the people in car's don't pay attention, but if you must ride on the sidewalk on bikes, fine, but you give the pedestrians on the sidewalk the right away, as for me, i don't move out of the way of people on bikes, they have to wait on me, because it says in the name sidewalk and not bike lines

I've lived in Albuquerque for 2 years now. The War Zone still looks like this. The city continues to struggle with poverty, inequality, and corruption. How is that different from anywhere else in the US? It's NOT. 😂 Burque just has the spine to be rough around the edges right out in the open. Albuquerque is a charming, sleepy city located in a poor Southwestern state. It's very much the Wild West, and when you mix in social problems and the same government ineptitude every state faces, it's not surprising that we have tent cities on some of our streets.

@@ThumperGI’m curious why do they call it that?
@ThumperG
@ThumperG 13 дней назад
@@MsPaulieboy It’s a section of Albuquerque where rival gangs and drug dealers literally went to war causing many drivers to-by shootings and countless murders. So many murders that locals began to call that section of Albuquerque “The War Zone” because that’s literally what it seemed like. I believe the name first came about sometime in the 80s during the crack epidemic and heroin crisis all across New Mexico. The name stuck and as you can see it’s still a dangerous part of town so the name has never went away. It’s still a war zone to this day, just not on the level it was in the 80s-90s. The murders have spread out, but the war zone is still a dangerous place to be if your deep in the streets depending what gangs/neighborhoods you ride with, etc. there’s ALOT of different gangs and “crews” in Albuquerque but the war zone is kind of a central area for a Neighborhood Crip set known as the War Zone Crips. But there’s so many gangs, I can’t even get started it would take an hour long documentary to name them all lol. Here’s a good documentary of what the warzone is like today. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RfM4bvy8G1w.htmlsi=b3cSgQZe5QBTiM2x

@@MsPaulieboy because going back to the 80s it’s an area of town that experienced constant shootings and murders. Theres several gangs in the area as well that were literally “at war” and the daily shootings and murders got it its name, the WAR ZONE. It was a dangerous area all the way into the 90s where gangs and drug dealers warred with each other for turf, and reputation. To this day it’s still located in a bad part of the city, still lots of gangs, homelessness, poverty, and drugs but the murders have spread out all over the city of Albuquerque, but it will probably always remain known as the war zone because of the murder rate and the high crime rate. Here’s a better video/documentary on “the war zone” : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RfM4bvy8G1w.htmlsi=ujIYeWnGYZTTqcoM
