Sorry, if someone already mentioned this. One thing we use with our tents and teardrop camper are rubbermaid type storage boxes. Our shoes stay in the closed boxes either under the camper our outside of the tent. The shoes stay dry, snake and bug free, and the tent/camper stays a lot cleaner. Thanks for this video - very helpful.

You can buy 2 lg plastics fancy patio rugs to cover the floor if you are not buying a bell tent rug,

I have a 5-meter canvas Bell that I love and more so since I modified it to be better. But I must, sadly, sell the tent.

Would it be worth it to disassemble the tent during non-visitor seasons? I realize right now u want to test it thru all four, but wondered if, unless you're planning for winter tourists n supplying heat etc for them, it just might be easier to pack it up in late autumn n reassemble in the spring? Of course the ground might need to be reworked before you can put it up again but you may need to do some of that anyway, even if the tent stays put all year. Just a thought.

Packing it up for the winter is certainly an option. This particular tent is designed to hold a woodstove and/or an air conditioner, so it was designed for year-round use in all types of weather conditions. We will play it by ear, and see how much demand there is for it throughout the year.

I put up a tent on my hunting property every year. Every season I have mice issues. Have you guys had mice yet and if so how are you battling them

So far, we’ve had no issue. But then again, we don’t store any food in there, and most of the fabrics are stored in the cedar chest. So other than the rugs, chair, or mattress for nesting material, there’s not much there for them to pick from. Although, because the tent is still relatively new to that spot, it probably wouldn’t be a bad idea for us to keep traps in there when it’s not in use regularly.😁

Nice video. I just bought a 5m bell tent. Quick question, did yours come with a tiny hole in the middle of tent?

We did not notice a tiny hole in the middle. I’m assuming you’re referring to the center patched area where the pole pushes up.

No, mine is the middle of the floor, approximately 2-3mm.@@ADifferentWay
