I’m going to start this off by saying I am not being mean, you just mentioned having a breakdown about your skin, I promise less is more; I only use soap and moisturizer on my face and I never break out. A lot of products initially help your skin to make you think it’s working, then actually cause breakouts when you quit to keep trying theirs or switch to something else etc. that whole industry thrives on people who think the cure is something in a bottle, when in reality it’s just cleaning and hydrating. Hope you find what works for you; this was just a suggestion!
You’re absolutely correct. Unfortunately I notice a lot of girls getting into a harsh cycle of breaking out from make up and then wearing more make up to cover the break out and so forth. Hydrogen peroxide and letting my face breathe make up-free 80% of the time does wonders for me
When you use skin products and break out - it’s called perching , then if after a few weeks of still using bit no improvement. Then yes it isn’t working
This can be true if your skin problems are externally reactive. However, if skin problems are internally reactive this is not true. For me, I had cystic acne from 16 to 28. It took me YEARS to find what foods to cut out, what products to help calm the external irritation, etc. It is still true that less is more but even to this day just soap and moisturizer isn't enough for me. I at least have to use a toner too or my skin is dry and irritated (regardless of how much moisturizer I use) and I have to use a liquid exfoliant regularly or my pores get horrifically clogged (and no. I do not EVER wear makeup apart from mascara). I guess my point is that not everyone has facial skin that just behaves. You are very blessed that you do, but remember that is not true for everyone.

I have a subscription to scribd and I love it. You can get ebooks, audiobooks, podcasts, magazines etc. Sometimes they won't have a certain novel I want but it's much cheaper than audible and unlimited downloads. I also use the crap out of local libraries. Get a library card :)
I love my paper white kindle. It’s even waterproof but I haven’t tried it in the bathtub yet. I love how easy it is to get books and they are cheaper since they are digital.
If you want to read in the sun you need to make sure you buy the kindle paper white! It just looks like paper even in direct sunlight and doesn't get any glare
For me, I used to have a kindle, but honestly it was annoying because then when I would travel, i'd be like, grab my phone, laptop, iPad, AND kindle. So now I just have the kindle app on my phone and my iPad and I sync them. So if I start a book with my iPad and then I'm like out doing whatever, I can read more on my phone, too.
kindles are great!! so small and compact and great for the beach bag! work in the sun too- even crazy Australian sun!! only things is obviously need a light for them because the screen literally looks like an actual book page!! im sad though because i somehow smashed my screen!! keen to get a new one soon!! also currently reading 'say you swear' by meagan brandy and omgggg!! get it!!!
love your videos, I used to struggle with acne and once I got the right moisturizer and cleanser it got a lot better also make sure you are cleaning your makeup brushes regularly, Ive stopped using brushes and sponges and I really just use my fingers to blend. Also you are beautiful and I promise you once you let go of feeling like you have to be or look a certain way life gets a lot easier, Don't let some little breakouts control your mood. The adversary wants you to be sad and negative don't give him that power over you.
Avia just some mom advice about you worrying about your acne. First, go to a dermatologist it could be something in your diet or the energy drinks. Second, don't mix your makeup brands. I know you love makeup but try going without it just mascara and lips. You are a very beautiful girl and this shouldn't be a stresser in your life. I was lucky to never have acne but we just used soap and water foundation some blush mascara and eyeshadow. Best of luck sweetie. Acne does not define you.💕
Yes, get the kindle paper white and pay for kindle unlimited. 100% worth it. It works really well in the sun and it is water proof. Also song f Achilles is phenomenal
When I was younger I used to love reading books on my moms kindle! Now I just do it on my iPad if I don’t wanna physically buy it. I do recommend getting a kindle!
I know skin care is like a huge trend or whatever on TikTok but try to stop putting all those oils and crap on your skin and give it a break. Just wash your face with normal face wash and see if that helps. Just because using all those products works for other people doesn’t mean it will work for you!
