It's true when you move to UK there are 3 stages which everyone experience here, First is excitement stage, we are excited and everything looks good and exciting, after sometime the next stage start depression and homesickness phase, we miss our family, country, this phase is quite difficult involves alot of RONA DHONA😅, the biggest sign of end of this phase is you start accepting things , ok this is what it is, I have to go with the flow, nobody comes to rescue me, then the real journey start, you become more independent, mature, emotionally strong and many more changes you feel in your personality and this happend in just 2-3 months. Overall, this process is transition phase.

I understand that life in the UK can have its challenges, but let's put things into perspective. Compared to many Asian countries, the standard of living here is significantly higher. Access to healthcare, education, and social services is far superior, providing a safety net that many other countries can only dream of. The freedom of speech, movement, and opportunities for personal and professional growth are unparalleled. While it's true that the UK has its problems, such as the high cost of living and housing issues, these are relatively minor when you consider the broader global context. In many Asian countries, people face far more severe challenges, including limited access to basic necessities, lower wages, and fewer opportunities for upward mobility. Instead of constantly complaining, let's appreciate what we have and work towards improving the issues we face. Constructive criticism is necessary, but so is gratitude for the privileges and advantages we often take for granted. Life in the UK is not perfect, but it's certainly much better than in many parts of the world.

Although I am a British citizen by descent and was born in UAE , I have been living in Pakistan for a long time. The old Pakistan was far better than the current Pakistan. I married someone from Pakistan and enjoyed my life a lot here, but now I've come to realize that my decision to live in Pakistan was not the right one. Still I prefer to live in Pakistan not UK.

UK life is very tough for immigrants.Dealing with immigration is stressful .Paying high visa fees & twisted rules is an alarming fear all the times until you get passport which is a difficult journey for many .First ,the system for new people is really tough & challenging if you don't have innovative skills or high paid jobs .Most are on low paid survival jobs where they struggle paying high rents ,travelling & for food.Accommodation in cities is worst & a nightmare .In London people are cramped like goats & sheeps & living in overcrowded homes cause depression.Homesickness is always there forever to cause depression.Some people even get fed up with the system & leave the UK. Racism at workplace is spiral out of control .No one enjoys work if someone is around there hating them .Having a car is a skill but for that you need a licence which is not easy as it costs lots of money to get one for most people.

Its not just you, everyone has to go through this stage specially the migrants and plus people living in same country but totally different culture and different life style as compare to others. i dont know why do i feel migrants specially pakistani dont enjoy their life in uk, what they are doing is to just ''zindagi guzar rahy" because they to pay a huge price for this Financial stable life, because no family here in uk, no relatives, no loyal friends who can stand for you in your difficult times as the life is very busy and everyone is running to earn more and more money. and after 15, 20 years which passes very quickly they get old life is about to end. children are grown up but have no family links back home and dnt want to move pakistan bbecause they are British,, so what we migrants will be thinking after 20 years in our 50s or 60's what we ahieved in our life ? ?? money ? british citizen children but no relatives who can stand with them through thick and thin time ? or a couple of grand children who may or may not be following our religion ? ( and its not my thoughts its a research done by an EGYPTIAN SCHOLAR According to which, the people who live in different culture/ society there are 80 to 90% chances that their 3rd generation would not be their grand parents religion.

Even though we were poor (or were in middle class) in Pakistan but we still managed to get few moments of joy with our family or friends even without money 😂. Now we have money but nobody has time. I think the people who have money and they are rich in Pakistan they are living in heaven. They are have having money, family, friends, lots of time no hustle, safety, celebrating religious events. Have people around who can stand by them in every difficult time and for emotional support. If you have money pak is best place to live
