Here is 18 minutes of gameplay for Life Is Strange "Double Exposure" Developed by Deck Nine Games, LIFE IS STRANGE: DOUBLE EXPOSURE is an all-new supernatural murder mystery that will excite both new and returning players. LIFE IS STRANGE: DOUBLE EXPOSURE will launch on Xbox Series X|S consoles, PlayStation 5®, and PC on October 29, 2024, and is also coming to Nintendo Switch. Max Caulfield, photographer-in-residence at the prestigious Caledon University, discovers her closest new friend, Safi, dead in the snow. Murdered. To save her, Max tries to Rewind time - a power she’s not used in years… instead, Max opens the way to a parallel timeline where Safi is still alive, and still in danger! Max realizes the killer will soon strike again - in both versions of reality. Only Max can Shift between the two parallel timelines to solve and prevent the same murder. Yeah, same it is. I see that more clearly now, people weren't her fans for nothing. Thanks to motion capture technology, we witnessed how successfully Hannah actually portrayed Max and literally brought her to life. Despite the blunt facial expressions of the first Life is Strange, somehow in the new game it feels like Max has really found herself, Max is now completely Max. I also really liked the new, mature version of her, who is more confident and is starting to express her sarcasm, which has always been introverted.

@@King_Kai501 To be fair, It's like that though- even in real life. For me, there was nothing annoying about it. Not everyone/protagonist can be built the same right off the back and it's great that they depicted max to show that vulnerability. It helped her confidence stand out more in this video.

I hope so, these choices don't have to be like detroit become human or until dawn choices, but at least make them have some sort of differences of how they impact on different characters like twd final season and life is strange 2.

I'm so glad that Hannah Telle was asked to return. She IS Max Caulfield. Her voice is just incomparable. I just hope that if the game has another scene were Max plays her guitar, that the devs allow Hannah to actually sing a song or two. In True Colors, the actress that did the voice for Alex didn't sing. So they hired another artists to do the singing. Here with Max, that won't be necessary. Because Hannah does sing really well.

I wasn't even sure if it was the same VA for Max at first. You can tell they definitely changed the tone. Her voice here is a lot higher and softspoken. In LIS 1 it's deeper and more casual. Or am i tripping?

@@js_evln That's because she was "doing a voice" back then. She did a voice of a teenager. She also did voices for other characters in the same game. She was trying to make the characters sound different. But if you go back and play the bonus episode in "Before The Storm", Max's voice is softer just like it is now. She's not forcing the voice anymore. Its closer to her normal voice.

I had some xp with Motion Capture and love LiS 4's seriously fluid, accurate animations and movement choreography - it finally did the cinematic style of the narrative justice. Kudos to the devs. Ps. You almost saw me as Leon in these new Resident Evil games :)

My favorite thing about True Colors was that the characters were actual adults. The sensationalized teen years in media never really relates with me, and this just feels so much better. I love that Max has grown more confident and outgoing! Also thanks Dom for letting us just watch the gameplay without commentary!

Wow, just finished watching and I’m blown away already! I seriously can’t wait to play this. Life is Strange is one of my all time favorites! I just hope they do max justice. I’m also curious if they’ll mention Chloe and how they’ll handle the whole if we chose to save Chloe or not thing.

Yeah start from 1 and then move to Before the Storm. LiS2 has a few scenes showing the fate of both Arcadia bay and Chloe. You also see what happened to a certain character from LiS1. Who has a conversation with other LiS1 characters. But the vast majority of the game is about a totally different set of characters. With LiS: True Colors it features a character from Before the Storm. But almost nothing related to Max. The DLC focuses on characters from Before the Storm, tho. You have 4 months to play these games. LiS1 and BtS shouldn't take you more than 35 hours. That's like 2 or 3 days of playtime. LiS2 is 20 or 25 hrs long. While True Colors is between 13hrs and 15 hrs.

I def think playing through the series in release order is the best choice. Though BtS is my favorite game in the series, I think it’s more hard hitting if you play LiS1 first (which is a close close second favorite)

why does Max sound like a 10yr old at some point and mature at others..... Not talking about body language or dialog.. The voice and delivery of lines in a slow and trying to be very soft manner.
