Because we’re all being forced to watch Chloe’s worst loss & trauma, & it forced her to watch, too… & you can just hear the screams of pain in her voice. We all know what’s gonna happen, but that doesn’t make the scene any less intense. Even for me playing it to this day after 9 whole years, I still can’t keep it together during scenes like that, or when Chloe is alone in the junkyard after she finds her dads car & starts slamming onto it & doesn’t stop until she’s so tired & she’s crying, while her knees literally give out & we watch her just cry in the fetal position in front of his car all alone…
Not after LiS 1 was all about letting go. It’s just dreams and the last one is a hallucination. Both is actually not that uncommon when you lost someone.
