Life is Strange: Remastered is DELAYED (But That's Good) 

Personally, I’m glad that the Remastered Collection is going to be delayed. Personal well-being and health matters extraordinarily more than getting the game out and crunching. Life is Strange is a passion project and should always be treated as a passion project. Also, this means that True Colors is going to have 100% of the spotlight and that’s a wonderful thing. I’m really looking forward to playing True Colors next month and playing Wavelengths too. :)

I've always stood by letting people take more time for a better product. Hopefully they can stay healthy as well as putting their all into this

Rather this being delayed than True Colors.

Hoping the delay will make the game look (and feel) like a real Remaster with a price tag as opposed to glorified 4K texture pack that should have been for given to existing owners for free.

This is fine with me, let the devs and programmers (and others) rest for a bit. It also makes it so i can play LiS1 without feeling kinda sick of it come remaster release.

This is fine. Gives me time to play True Colors a couple of times before I get to play the remasters.

and now there is further delays for the switch version. so what was meant to be one release date for all content with possibly another for the wavelengths DLC has become 4 release dates plus an additional one for the DLC. What was supposed to be a celebration of a game we love has resulted in us being strung along by its developers.

i’m looking forward to the remaster and true colors releases but I just hope that they run on my original Xbox one.

I’m not very happy with this, I would understand maybe a month or two delay but early 2022 is too much. I am one of those people that are more hyped for the remaster, but that’s because the first game means so much to me as a person and in general. I literally spent £65 I think for the ultimate edition so I could have everything ready, but this has kind of put me in a bad mood. If true colours is a bad game everyone will be angry because now we can’t just say oh we’ll play the remaster can’t go wrong with that, but this is risky, true colours is either going to be an amazing game or a boring generic game. While I wanted to play through the remastered collection with my friend before diving into True Colors, I'm glad they're taking their time. I'm sure the team at Deck Nine has their plates plenty full without crunching on two games at once. I'll be plenty happy whenever it comes out, maybe I'll just play through the original releases for the time being. I might even convince my friend to finish hers lol.

I am still looking forward to the remastered version. While i am a tad dissapointed its not comeing out in sept,and early in 2022,im also glad they are takeing more time to work on the remastered version. Hopefuly they make some of the puzzles harder to solve,espailley the one in the dark room were all you have to do is get one foot loose to get to photos. you should be stuck with both feet,and they come up with another way. I'm still looking forward overall to the game.

Don't mind about the delay! The trailer that was shown looked rough, happy that True Colors is on track!

It's great that they are taking their time with this specially after most of the fans didn't feel good about it after the trailer at the end of the day the whole point of a remastered collection is that we can enjoy the game with better graphics i'd much rather wait for another few month than being disappointed by the graphics when it comes out

While I wholeheartedly agree with you about not forcing developers to crunch, it is really disappointing news. I have been listening to the soundtrack and it's made me really nostalgic and wanting to play it again. If they delay and release a broken game (cyberpunk) then I'll be very upset but for now I wish them well.

Most people don't really care or aren't bummed that much that the remasters are getting delayed, but for me it's reeeaaalllyyyyy disappointing because I've never actually played BtS or LiS2 (I did play lis1 back in 2015), and I've been wanting to play all the lis games, but when I heard that LiS1, along with BtS were getting remastered, I decided to wait until they come out to play them, then play LiS2, then True Colors. So you can see why I'm more bummed than most people, I'll only play True Colors after having played the entire series, so that means having to wait until early 2022 to be able to play it lol

The delay of the remastered collection will not only ensure that deck 9 is able to develop the game with good updated graphics and visuals but also help for the the spotlight for true colors, wavelengths dlc and for a possible follow up game to max and Chloe, if leaks are to be believed.

I really hope they will add a bit of gameplay to the ending. I know it's unrealistic but even as somebody who loved the first Lis i thought that the ending walking simulator as i like to call it will be reworked .... I'AM still kinda unsure tho if that would be the right decision

I'm definitely thankful for the delay! Gives the team more time to polish the game, which is much more desirable than releasing it too early. It also helps True Colors, since everyone now has more time to play the game and its various paths. :)

They definitely made the right call by delaying the release of the remaster. While the currently available footage of the remastered edition does look alright for the most part, it doesn't quite look good enough to pass as a "Remastered" game to me. Delaying it will also keep the LIS hype train going for longer than if they clumped it in with the release of LIS 3, which is definitely an upside :)

I think it Would be better if they work on a new Game, the remster istn really necesary... If they make a new story that includes Chloe ir max as playeble characters, the people who didnt play ora Buy the first Game Will do it in order to play the new one... Imagine a new story that involves al the LiS saga characters using they Powers to resolve some kind of crisis (?❤️👄❤️

2021 just got ruined. It was the only game release I was looking forward, and now the delay is an extra layer of forever on all the waiting.
