that's very true i love how they tied both choices of arcadia bay into life is strange 2 and true colors but it hits harder for Steph who either loses Chloe and Rachel its obvious they were great friends during the events of before the storm before rachel went missing or Rachel And Lita Her Mom along with Drew i think Sacrificing Arcadia bay hits harder because it shows that Steph and Mikey and David all suffer Survivors Guilt and PTSD If we sacrifice Chloe David loses his step-daughter and Steph loses both of her friends

Point of perspective I believe. Obviously original to the game. I don’t think you can find the actual track anywhere then gameplay videos but I could be wrong

@@johncam8420 my interpretation of the song is it’s talking about her current situation. She’s gaining perspective by doing something new to figure out what to do next, because she doesn’t know yet.

@@johncam8420 It seems to cover her year in Haven Springs. A parting in Spring (though in a more literal sense, it was Izzie, the other half of Drugstore Makeup who left, while Steph remained) but also her first steps in staying were taken with Gabe (and soon Ryan and Charlotte too), and she also resumes contact with Mikey - all of which helps her continue to hide from her past trauma - the events in Arcadia Bay - either Rachel and Chloe being killed by Nathan Prescott, or Rachel's disappearance followed by the destruction of the entire town and the death of most people she knew from home. Then sepia pain speaks to old wounds. And the whole of that second verse - reacting rather than running, being stuck far from home in the mountains, cutting herself off from anything that seems good before she can be hurt by having it taken from her (again) and her self-assessment of both being a damaged remnant and needing others - resonates strongly with her Halloween conversation with Mikey. Following that, there are two versions of the lyrics to the breakdown (triumphant or dark), but both start with accepting that she has been hurt and being over it/moving forward isn't working, though one focuses on finding new purpose ("I'm over running over / What I could have said to you / I'm over running from / I think I'd rather be running to") while the other focuses on the current uncertainties ("I've done my best to pull through / But there's still so much slack / Mistakes are piling at my feet / Just push them down into the cracks") The four lines that are the second half of the first verse in this version ("It's a long way to travel, it cuts through the mountains / Arcadia abdicates its hold over me / So the first step to catch the path should be in company / Me, I'm with you. Yeah, you, you're with me") can appear as the first half of the final verse instead, where it reflects a healthier attitude of accepting the pain of Arcadia Bay and the support of her friends in finding a way to move forward with that pain. And then the final four lines start by reflecting her growth and new attitude - rather than the neutral "long way to travel" or the backwards looking "long way from home", it's now an optimistic "long way to home" and once again, Haven Springs ("the mountains") is conceived as a waypoint, not her destination. There's a wintry vibe, but also optimism - it's not just the first snow; it's the first snow to catch the light, and the precipice that would normally be a dead end (possibly very literally) is reframed as an opportunity - and as the song's title, Point of Perspective. So, yeah, the song reflects Steph's arc during the DLC, from running scared and in denial to confronting her trauma and acknowledging the behaviour that results and finally to starting to look for something more.
