I think that was a gag for the most part, he seemed serious and honest when he spoke of his time becoming a professor and not being lonely again after giving to the very poor and forming a sort of guardianship over them, helping them find their feet with work etc. Most priests will not admit doubts and many negative feelings publicly, they are called to serve not scandalize, so when some of them go through hard times, lonliness etc. they have support and help from other priests and organizations that understand their unique difficulties. Doubts are another matter, I agree with the Bishop that Christ Jesus new what doubt was, understood the desolation of the athiest and skeptic - but I would say Jesus, our Blessed Lord, like Bishop Fulton Sheen, did not doubt God's existance, did not fail to trust in him even when their cross might have seemed too much to bear.
It's true. I had a incurable health problem. It was absorbing me so much I was without hope. Then, my Father got very ill. He developed several serious problems at once, and I needed to take care of him. Then my Mother got ill and I needed to care for her too. I forgot about my illness, because I had to serve them. It was a Blessing in disguise. Yes, it was difficult. But in order to forget your troubles, serving others will remedy depression and loneliness. Thank God for Archbishop Fulton J Sheen. May he rest in eternal peace. Amen.

Actually one can very much exist in the Roman Catholic Church and teach Biblically without questioning their Dogmas. If you question their Dogmas - then all Hell breaks loose. They can get very heavy handed and ask you to leave.

Venerable Fulton J Sheen is a very inspirational person from Heaven because he inspired me to become a Champion of the Holy Rosary and it's not just him but also my great grandmother because she was also devoted to the Holy Rosary as well and the reason why she was devoted because she went through hard times in her life when she lost her parents and had to raise her younger siblings and the Holy Rosary and the Catholic faith helped her get through hard times and unfortunately she died before I was born but I have a strong feeling that she's in Heaven with Venerable Fulton J Sheen.
