OHHHH THIS IS SOOO COOLLL!!! I love that it shows Zelda’s hardships with the goddess as well as her relationship with her father and Link too!!! Its also awesome to see how Link is serious and trying his best, since everyone really relies on him

Why do people sleep on animations for botw? This goes to show that they have AMAZING potential!

I am absolutely blown away by your staging and subtle visual metaphors! I especially love the shot of Zelda-as she stands in the water pleading to the goddesses for her powers to unlock-with the broken moon behind her. It’s such a powerful shot! The very last shot was amazing as well and that sudden turn was wonderfully animated. I also love how Link reaches up to touch his throat as withered flowers surround him, showing his selective muteness and all the pressure that’s been placed upon him (and Zelda)! Just! Give these kids a hug.

I love the friendship between Zelda and Link. To me, it seems like they found family with each other after losing their own

I really love the imagery you used here!! Especially that shot at the start with all of the previous iterations of Link standing over the master sword before the hero of the wild and all the shots with Zelda and Link masked into the triforce, it's really cool :). The colours are so good and I just really like this

I felt more empathy for Zelda in your 30 second clip than I did in both BotW and TotK! Great job building character and emotion in such a short time. ❤

I could say that this storytelling was even more beautiful than botw's narrative story, mainly because the animation spoke so much with so little. The coloring and the expressions are so majestic, and they gave both Zelda and Link even more complex character and emotional depth. I'm gonna repeat this for a whiiiile

WOW be warned, I am going to ramble. I love this so much! It starts with a sequence of all the Links who used the Master Sword: SS, OoT, MM, TP, WW, then I assume the BOTW pre-game Link. The level of detail where I can differentiate everyone with only lineart is amazing. I love current Link's long hair. The next scene has Zelda praying at one of the three springs (I'm guessing the Spring of Wisdom). I love the reflection of the Goddess Hylia statue in the water! I love how you show Zelda's fascination with the Guardians. The fade from Link looking at the castle to the Master Sword has the scenic view of one of the memory photos. The comparison shot of Zelda and Link flowing past each other is so pretty. I'm a sucker for flower symbolism, so I love the imagery of the wilted silent princess over the scenes of Zelda trying to connect with the Goddess and Link doing...some internal conflict (possibly touching his throat as a reference to his mutism?) Then during the high intensity of them fleeing there's the blooming silent princess for Zelda being able to use her powers (love the triforce pupils). The symbolism is so cool with the flower dead from blight (both the normal and goopy ganon variety) over Link dying, and the fresh, reborn flower over Link waking up. Link having all of those scars makes a lot of sense for the "recovered but not completely reborn" mechanic, and is also awesome visually.

I like this whole animation, and I especially like how you added more scars to Link after waking up in the Shrine.

The way you draw Link and Zelda and their expressions is wonderful. I also really like how you drew Link with scars in the end bc he does canonically have them they're just not on the model for reasons I don't entirely understand.

HOW AM I ONLY JUST DISCOVERING THIS ITS AMAZING AAAAAAAA On another note, I love how you drew link without much emotion. It must be hard to express yourself when your raised as a soldier.

This animation is SO GOOD that I keep thinking of it throughout the day until I watch it again. It’s so pretty and smooth and the lyrics fit so well! Also, I love how angry and bitter Zelda looks, as well as how tired Link looks. It fits them so well.

BOTW/TOTK's Zelda is my favorite Princess Zelda of all time. She's been put through so much hardship, it gives me a lump in my throat. But her story is still one of triumph, as her daring actions (which she makes out of love for Hyrule and Link) ultimately save Hyrule.

One thing I’ll always be disappointed in is that on a handful of occasions they make it a point t mention Link is covered in scars and Robbie wants you to take off your shirt and show him the scars. Yet the game model has no scars visible to us. I want to see battle scarred Link.

holy shiz this is so nicely animated and so well presented. the frames are perfect and it gave me FEELZ T.T that scared look on Link's face in the very last secion when he wakes up nearly made me cry

I CAN'T express much I love this animation especially at the beginning where you see different links pulling the sword

I really like the symbolism with the Silent princesses withering away when hope seems lost and a healthy one when theres still hope and the dead one when Link was on the verge of dying and Zelda thinking she lost another person she holds dearly too and then a healthy one again when Link wakes up so he can stop the calamity for good its very well made I keep watching it over and over again

The fact that people are making animations about Breath Of The Wild is so amazing, it combines 2 of my favourite things! I noticed all the Silent Princess flowers, and i loved that detail because of them bieng Zeldas favorite flower!

Can I just say I adore that you did not make zelda pale and made her actually look a bit more like she is related to her dad?! The way you draw all the characters is so charming and makes zelda and link still feel like children (which they are) and makes me want to protect them so bad ahhhhh I love how this really highlights zelda's own arc and struggles in botw (love how happy she and purah look in that one shot) and how bitter she was to both her father and link, the expressions are all so great and fitting! ALSO link having serious injury scars by the events of botw?? chef's kiss, it really only makes sense considering he literally almost died from the events that played out.

Wonderful little video! I can feel the effort put into it! It was a good idea to put the blooming princess-flower (don`t know its proper name right now) in the scenes where Zelda activates her power for the first time and when Link wakes up. Very nice symbolism there.

The reason zelda cries when she's praying is because she prays about all hyrule and all their health to live and praying will defeat that calamity monster

Literally one of my favorite animations I’ve been watching this nonstop since it came out basically a month ago. -w-

everyone’s talking about how they feel bad for zelda but not about the amount of pure bullshit link had to go through. since he was like 8 he was trained to be a knight, and when he was discovered to be the wielder of the master sword he had an immense amount of pressure placed on him to succeed in defeating ganondorf’s precum aka calamity ganon and be looked up to by everyone, so much so that it became too much for him to even speak and reveal the amount of pressure that he was under. he then fucking DIED after sustaining 20 guardian shots (that he had to take down by himself) and then he was revived 100 years later for the sole purpose of doing it all over again with all his friends being dead and him not remembering shit. after he got done with all that bullshit he found a 100k year old mummy on a spooky cave trip with zelda which proceeded to reset all of his progress, knock him unconscious for 2 weeks, and then start Calamity 2: Electric Boogaloo. he then was forced to repeat the entirety of botw AGAIN except THIS time he has a weird new arm, the princess is an immortal dragon, everyone is fucking dying again, and he still is expected to clean it all up. and this isn’t even mentioning the other games where he has gone through much more bullshit while zelda was allowed to sit in her castle and occasionally give him vague pieces of advice and new songs to play. my boy has gone though a LOT
