Getting bummed is natural but you are turning it positive. Your positive attitude is awesome and hopefully contagious. Keep up the grind. Enjoyed talking with you when you got back to Lake Elsinore, we love you here. Stay positive you are one of the good guys.
Dude, you are the coolest! I have been a huge fan since you got drafted and now I love your vidblogs segments. Thanks for sharing the good and the bad with us, Your realness is awesome!
Most people have no idea how hard it is to get to the level of baseball you have achieved. I topped out at the college level and put in a lot of work to get that far. When your career in pro ball is over you can look back with your head held high! The fact that you have already played some triple A is insane. 99.9 percent of ball players out there will never even see rookie ball. Keep going River! Best of luck in your pursuit to play in the SHOW!
Appreciated your comment. You remind me of Bill James saying that athletic talent is like a pyramid - for every player at one level you've got a thousand (maybe ten thousand) at the lower level. But it's not just talent, it's determination and wisdom that also contribute to how far a player goes. Avoiding injury. Being surrounded by good people. Overcoming adversity. Grace. No, we muggles have no idea what it takes to even break into the lowest level of minor league ball. That's why I like these videos because they give the merest taste of what it's like....
Omg franmil !!!!!. Remember last year when your team played the springfield Cardinals and before the game started they announced a team called the bombers (11-12 year olds) and each kid ran to the position they played. And franmil called this kid with long hair that played 3rd base over to the dugout and franmil compared that kid to you because of the long hair. Well that was me. Hopefully you remember but if you don’t, it is ok. It is just fun to see how franmil came so far and you to. And when I saw Franmil it was so exciting EDIT: fixing my grammar lol
love all your videos! keep them coming. Players and people like you give me hope and a little insight to my dreams and ambitions to become a big leaguer one day!
Thanks for sharing your experiences with us and for posting this video where you had to go back to Lake Elsinore. We all know that was a disappointment, but you showed your grit in letting us know it's part of the journey and you will fight back.
rivrat you are awesome, I've been watching you not to long cause your channel is new, but rivrat safe journeys to lake Elsinore, I'm possibly one of your biggest fans you make me happy thank you and keep your channel going man. btw I'm using my moms account so I'm not a girl I'm a boy just to clarify. thanks rivrat
You videos are awesome. You get to do what you love and its worth more than any money. Life is about being happy period and you have that down. Just keep the videos coming!
Stay Positive Rivrat & tear so cal up!! Thank you so much for last night in San Bernardino, keep grinding and can't wait to come out and see you play some more 🤘🏽
Rivera As a father of a 17 year old baseball player from Ontario, Canada looking for a college scholarship in the states. I would like to let you know how much I appreciate your tips on scouting. The only other thing besides what you talked about I push with my son is social media and how college and pro scouts check your social pages. You are doing a great job. Chase that dream
Just a small bump. If Lake Elsinor was closer to San Jose or even played San Jose at home I sure would have been there. Good luck man finish the season strong.
Hey man, love the videos. I'm not too far from Elsinore. I live in Ontario. I have a vlog too, and go to a bunch of California League games. Hopefully I'll be able to make it down to Elsinore before the season is over to catch a game, and say hello. Keep up the great work man!!
Hey man stoked to come see you play. Brandon Larson, Chase and myself coming to watch this Friday. Hope to see you lock down the hot corner. I'll throw BP to you!!! Haha
Rivrat love the vids. I was wondering what is the normal amount of hours you are putting in to baseball in a day. Trying to put together a daily routine. Thanks.
Good call on the cbh. Best base to a breakfast skillet. (Fatboy tip, pile a bunch of whatever you want. Add some poached eggs on top........ Then drop a drizzle of breakfast country gravy over the top)
I plan on going to a game when Lake Elsinore is in Modesto, CA to play the Nuts in about 3 weeks. I would love to come up to ya and say hello! Big Padres fan here.
Once again great video- also thanks for your transparency when talking about going to Lake Elsinore. I got a chance to see that first game on MiLBtv- man you ripped the seams off of the ball! Keep on keepin on!
At 9:02 is there any chance you might know the brand of the hat that the guy is wearing? It’s the guy having a stare down with the camera. But it looks like all star to me. Just curious cuz I can’t find it anywhere on all stars website
I'm bummed man! I just discovered your channel and am from SA and this is the first thing I saw. Wanted to come see you. Hope you're doing well in 2018! Such a cool channel.
Cool video. You have to rotate each egg as well. Sometimes they crack on the bottom and stick to the carton. By the way, it is a crying shame that any minor league ball player affiliated with a major league club should ever have to buy anything necessary to sustain life and well being. The clubs make so much money that stocking your fridge would not even show up on the accounting reports.
Well, I like your video, first one I've seen.I watch ANATOLIA , VIDS WHICH I like also, I wonder if u know him? Anyway I wish u success, I am now subscribed!
The farm system is rough but he loves the game much respect for the guy who lives in a van not by a river though lol You gotta earn everything in this world this video is evidence of that!
It’s blue actually there a triple a team which means he would make like 10000 a month so he would have 120000 at the end of a year enough to have a house
@@itsblue7421 usually minor leaguers get their food, equipment, and housing paid for by the team, and their paycheck they can use all in themselves or save it
