Excellent little piece of field first aid. There is also Sphagnum or red peat moss if you can find it, also good for wound dressings.

Interested in a follow up video in a few weeks to see how the wound healed. Initial instinct says you gave yourself a charcoal tattoo but I suspect the sap may prevent the charcoal getting in the wound. Anyway, looking forward to a follow up.

back in november i completely crushed the middle bone of my left pointy finger with a sledgehammer… wish it would be an easy to fix but i had to get surgery done since this tiny bone did split into 5 parts… he fixed it with a metal plate and 6 screws and i left hospital with a pretty bad stitching that they made… my doctor of trust or rather my medicineman said he would never put something onto a wound or cut that he cannot eat so he advised i should put honey onto the wound and i just did that for 1 week and then left it drying up by itself i was and still am blown away that it healed so well honey is truly miraculous! i have a small glass of honey in my med-kit now 👍🏼

Nice little video with such valuable information! If there's birch polypore around you can cut that into a thin strip and wrap it around your cut like a band-aid. Always be careful out there. I was chopping wood at a cabin in Sweden last week when my axe glanced off the frozen log and - luckily - the back of the axe head hit my big toe full force. I was wearing camp slippers, not shoes. Imagine if it was the sharp edge. I was a days march on ski's to the nearest road.

any way to dry your wound faster (especially if you are in a high humidity environment?)
@KuskBushcraft
@KuskBushcraft 10 месяцев назад
You should apply pressure to a fresh wound to stop the bleeding. Preferably with a gauze or clean cloth. Once the wound has stopped bleeding let the skin around the wound air-dry for awhile. This will also give you time to ensure the wound has stopped bleeding. After the skin around the wound is dry to the touch then a bandage of your choice can be applied, whether it's a man-made bandage or a natural one. Thanks for watching!

Healing is a very low DC current induced at a wound. Sunlight exposure heightens the speed of healing by providing electrons for more current. I've noticed lots of little wounds heal much quicker for myself. I'm not sure what's more important in a Backcountry situation.

❤I'll leave the gospel here: So, how many lies have you told in your life? How many hours of p*** have you watched? Have you ever taken anything that didn't belong to you? How many times have you used God's holy name as a cuss word? How many times have you held a grudge in your heart? ..

How do you get to hell? Very simple: claim that you're innocent. How do you get to heaven? Very simple: Admit that you're not Innocent, you're guilty and ask for mercy. hell. Ask him for mercy. His name is Jesus. It's as simple as this, The Ten Commandments are called the moral law. You and I broke God's laws. Jesus paid the fine. The fine is death. Ezekiel 18:20 - "The soul who sins shall die." That's why Jesus had to die on the cross for our sins. This is why God is able to give us Mercy. Option A. You die for your own sins. Option B. Ask for mercy and accept that Jesus died on the cross for you. ❤ **Honest questions are welcome.** >>>

Have you ever read the next 5 verses? John 3:16 16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. 19 And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. 20 For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. 21 But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.”
