Angerfist is the type of dude people could imagine seeing him do hard drugs and beat up everyone on the street with his demonic voice, intimidating face. Yet he's a chill dude like myself who enjoys hardcore music. That's why I give my respect to him
I was a major fan of his music right from his first release. His sound was very different from most of the cookie-cutter stuff that came out at the time. His sound was more mysterious and dark than most hardcore. When I grew older I started organising events and we booked Headbanger. He was just the most amazing humble guy, introduced me to his wife and we had a great time talking - interesting how Angerfist cites him as a major source of inspiration. I'm not actively involved with the hardcore scene anymore these days, but as they say it never dies and I still listen to it from time to time. Great to see Angerfist is still determined to push his sound forward.
