So it would appear that this collaboration is the one that Kanye did not put on the DONDA album 🧐. That is insane to me. This song, simply put is beautiful. Such a great tribute to those that have passed on and to have Andre 3000 feature on it as well is just out of this world. This one will be on repeat for a while.

This song wasn't on the album bc Andre3000 wouldn't clear the song with his verse censored. He finally agreed if his uncensored version was released as well. The uncensored version was released simultaneously as a single.

@@DaBrakes also the first half of kanyes verse was originally littered with drake disses. Drake leaked it the release of his album and since they made up kanye has released this version without the disses be a good version to check out in your own time!

I think the edit actually makes the verse mean more, its like showing respect while speaking to Kanye's Mother. It firs perfectly for me

Good video! Btw the censored version is on the album. The uncensored isn't and was made into a Single. I recommend Ghost Town off of his album Ye! Sounds incredibly beautiful and if you like Lyrics then Jesus Lord on Donda is so worth checking out for how personal Kanye gets.

Dude talked about loving Kanye for just College dropout and Late Registration. Dude kanye has gone ahead to release Graduation (with multiple awards to that), MBDTF after Taylor swift gate, 808 and Heartbreak changed the hip culture with Rapper feeling confident to sing. Kanye is brilliant and has added more to hip hop than all of the most popular modern day rappers will put together. Do you not like Kanye’s music or Kanye as a person? Or is it bc of some of his political statements?
