All Of The Lights is a metaphor (so no, he never hit anyone lol) about how Kanye disrespected his audience and the music industry by his outbursts after his mother passed, he compares it to slapping his spouse and compares his sabbatical from music in Japan and Hawaii to being locked away and hiding from the “lights” of the media and the public spotlight. It’s basically a backhanded apology telling the industry and his fans that even though he isn’t perfect, he knows we need him in the industry for his revolutionary ideas and pioneering of hiphop. Also, the song has about 14 features, you can see them all from right clicking the song and pressing “Song Credits”. It features Rhianna, Elton John, and many many others!

@@ImRadarr That's the fucking point, the whole song is about him being an asshole who nobody can understand (hence why they run away), and that's why the last part you literally can't understand what he's saying. He even tricks you by making it seem that he's just singing the chorus, but the more you listen the more you're like "Wait that's not the chorus, he's saying something else."
@@------.-. yeah but a lot of people write it off for that reason. Some people see it as just a “radio” song or a “stadium” song and don’t realize the genius of the lyrics, theme, and structure of the song. I highly reccomend the dissect podcasts breakdown of the song, he goes into a lot of detail. Also Kanye himself said 1000 hours were put into just the production of the song and the more u listen to it the more u appreciate that fact. One of the best examples of sampling ever.
